Down-to-earth inn in the middle of Heimerzheim. If you have something to celebrate in Heimerzheim and the surrounding area or just want to eat something decent, the best place to do it is in Simic's Klosterstuben. And those who are in the area on business also appreciate the accommodation in the simple but large and clean guest rooms, all at fair prices. There are free parking spaces directly in front of the house.If breakfast is too meager for you, you will find a cheap alternative a few meters away at the Voigt bakery.I always like to come back,not least because of the convenient location on the A61, right between Cologne and Bonn.

Three of us ate there today. The waiter was completely overwhelmed if you wanted to make changes to the dishes or had to leave out parts due to allergies. For example, the tartar sauce was canceled due to lactose intolerance and a cream!horseradish was brought in as a replacement. The waiters were not at all friendly and made the paying customer feel like they were unwanted and only causing problems, contrary to any hospitality. We were avoided as much as possible for the rest of the evening. The food was ok, the fresh vegetables were Tk Kaisergemüse, cold, the fries were cold and there was a lack of sauces, no questions were asked. Had to wait 20 minutes before we were allowed to pay.Not again!

First of all, I can't say anything about the rooms.The restaurant is very good. The beer garden is quiet in the evening. The food and service were top. Everything very clean. Thank you very much for the hospitality, we would be happy to do so again.

We arrived at the monastery rooms around the evening hours. The outside look of the inn was very inviting to me. Despite it being around 8 p.m. we received a very friendly welcome. The service was quick and friendly. The dishes offered on the menu were fairly inexpensive. Now we were curious about what the food we ordered tasted like. We weren't disappointed, the food was very good and the prices were completely reasonable. For us it won't be the last time we visit this location. We would like to thank the innkeeper and his staff for this cozy evening. Thanks

Were a guest in the Klosterstuben for one night - the distance to Heimerzheim Castle is TOP (walking distance) - good breakfast, clean rooms.Always my pleasure.

The food was rich and very tasty. Price-performance was right. The service is very friendly and accommodating without being intrusive. We ate in the beer garden. Very comfortable there. There are very large rooms in the house for celebrations. I could well imagine celebrating a family celebration there.

We had a meal there. The food was very good, asparagus with ham and medallions wrapped in bacon. Very friendly and attentive service. Everything is good in terms of price. Would love to come back.

We have often eaten in the monastery parlor or ordered food. However, the quality has left something to be desired for some time now. Maybe also due to the constantly rising prices. Lunch is in itself a good thing if you don't feel like cooking yourself. But you shouldn't be very demanding here. The “fresh vegetables” offered in the menu come from the freezer with a very watery taste and the potatoes taste like they were from the day before, just warmed up. Unfortunately I couldn't eat it. Too bad!

We have often eaten in the Klosterstuben, but this time we were very disappointed.On the season ticket, among other things: asparagus with potatoes, hallomdaise and Wiener schnitzel for 29 euros. Since we don't like eating veal, we ordered a "Vienna-style" schnitzel with the asparagus and croquettes instead of the potatoes. The schnitzel was a normal size and very tasty. However, the portion was hardly enough to fill you up. There were 3! small croquettes and 5! Add thin stalks of asparagus, and lots of hollandaise on the asparagus. The weight of the asparagus was a maximum of 150 g. We would have had to pay extra for a salad from the buffet. We paid 29 for the dish (no veal schnitzel)!!! Euro.For comparison: a “Viennese style” schnitzel with fries and salad from the buffet costs 15 euros. And most likely you would have had enough of it. So for the five thin asparagus stalks with hollandaise we have 14!!!!!!! Paid euros. We found that more than outrageous and really annoyed us!

Rating of the restaurant only:There were five of us.Service is helpless when it comes to advice. We then chose an alternative.At the “salad buffet” there is a mix of ready-made bottles from “Gut und Günstig” to “Knorr”. The salad buffet contains a very small selection.Sliced veal with mushrooms and rice:Mushrooms are too soft and don't taste great. Too much sauce. Too little meat.Fried potatoes with bacon: Bacon was too hard and therefore inedible.Asparagus with turkey steaks and potatoes:Here again insufficient advice from the service. The asparagus was drowned with the sauces. Normally the guest should pour the sauce onto their own plate in a sauce jug. We had to save the side dishes on separate plates.In terms of taste, we couldn't find any highlights here. The price is not justified.It was our first time here and unfortunately we cannot give a positive recommendation

Family atmosphere. We were there for the carnival and really enjoyed it. Highly recommended is the triple room, which is very large!
