Very nice guesthouse, breakfast was good, it was quite central

A good accommodation with a great price-performance ratio. Delicious breakfast and you can quickly get to the sea or the town center.

The house and the rooms are very clean. Parking is located directly in front of the house (narrow parking spaces).The beach and pedestrian zone can be reached on foot in 5 - 10 minutes.Breakfast is a lot and really okay. Varied (different cold cuts, cheese every day, lots to choose from, sometimes special things like sliced ​​fruit, delicatessen salads, sweets like cakes and snacks), it's all there. Eggs aren't available every day (I personally don't need them, but you should probably know). Sausage and cheese platters are served at the table, everything else is already there.Since the room is so small, you will be offered two 45-minute slots (due to Corona conditions) from which you can choose one. Ours was the later one, this one went until 9:30 a.m. An earlier time slot was also possible.There is a fridge with drinks to buy in the hallway (cheap) and a fridge in the room that you can use (great).The breakfast room is very small and there is a strange atmosphere because there are several people sitting in the tiny room and can hear other people's conversations and vice versa. It's not for everyone, but that's the nature of this property.The accommodation itself is a cute old Frisian house with rooms. We were on the ground floor, unfortunately, I have to say. Although the room was large, it was very noisy, in such a way that you could really hear every step of the residents above due to the squeaking and creaking wooden floorboards (?). Terrible not thinking about sleep. Walking around into the night and the associated noises. On the first night someone above us had to go to the toilet at 4. At first I thought my partner had gotten up, but he was in bed. You can really hear every single step. And if people are early risers, like in our case, then they wake you up shortly after 6... One evening they walked around until half past twelve :-/ So 6 hours of sleep.Unfortunately, you can not only hear what is happening from above, but also what is happening in the room next door. When someone took a shower there, it sounded like the water was running in our bathroom or in the wall. Really extremely noisy. I have never experienced this in this extreme form and would therefore rule out another stay for myself, as a holiday without restful sleep is simply exhausting.On the other hand, it has to be said that the price is naturally cheap. And I can't say how noisy it is on the upper floors. If that doesn't bother you anyway, there is cheap and clean accommodation near the beach and shopping mile.However, a not so nice incident happened when we left: It was 10:33 a.m. and we left the room to check out and pay the spa tax. There was a woman standing in front of the door (without a mask, not the owner) who snidely remarked that the “other guests” were already there and checkout would have been at 10. I was surprised and asked where the other guests were. Of course there weren't any. I've never experienced anyone being so stupid about spending half an hour on any of my trips (I wouldn't have expected it from a privately run guesthouse) and it's just a shame.

Friendly and cozy guesthouse, feels very familiar. You can get anywhere quickly on foot and at breakfast you were even asked what type of cold cuts you liked.

Holiday destination, you have to recommend this guesthouse. We were guests for the 4th time and everything was as usual. For Stellbrinck 100%...cleanliness in every corner, breakfast and back cannot be beaten...KEEP IT UP!!!
