We had a beautiful and large room. It was very clean. The sofa and armchair surprised us positively. The service was good and the location of the hotel speaks for itself. We'd love to come back. I would also like to mention the good breakfast and the course menu in the evening - very tasty. The service here was also very good.

I took a four day vacation there with my boyfriend.Since we booked a summer special, we also had the dinner with 2 and 3 courses included.The staff, whether in the restaurant 🍴 or in the hotel 🏨, were very friendly and accommodating, and when we had an extra request we got it without any problems (exchanging pillows).The breakfast was also great, from savory to sweet 🤩, everything you could wish for, including waffles 🧇 that you could bake yourself.In addition, the hotel 🏨 and the restaurant 🍴 pay attention to regional and natural cosmetics 😍. I would recommend everyone ☺️ to take a vacation there.The beach wasn't far away either and the city center was within walking distance.

First and foremost, big praise to the friendly and courteous staff! Nice, attentive and always friendly both at reception and at breakfast. The room was also very nice and clean. Perfect location for the beach and the small city center.Breakfast was very tasty and there was something for everyone, you could even make your own waffles at the buffet. Big praise!

We were able to spend a few wonderful days in the boutique hotel Zur alten Post in Büsum in September and can only say: it was a successful mix of well-being, laughing muscle training and glockenspiel symphonies!The location? Simply perfect! The beach, restaurants and shops such as Rossmann or the grocery store are just a stone's throw away. If you forget your sunscreen or spontaneously feel like grabbing a snack, everything is right around the corner.Our room was in the charming old building - comfortably furnished, even if the bathroom was on the smaller side. The shower could perhaps use a little wellness makeover, and a privacy screen on the window wouldn't have been a bad idea for a little more privacy. But hey, we ALWAYS knew what time it was! The chime of the church tower clock right next door was almost hypnotic and created its own rhythm during the stay. Clock? Superfluous! Chime? attitude to life!The service was particularly commendable: incredibly friendly, helpful and with a familiar charm that made us feel a bit at home. The breakfast was a real treat – fresh, varied and simply delicious. No wish is left unfulfilled and the service was super attentive. It felt like breakfast with friends, only without having to make the coffee yourself.A little tip for all sports lovers: Our room was under the roof - lots of stairs, no elevator, winding. But who needs a gym when cardio training is included? Breakfast tastes twice as good!A highlight was the free entry to the swimming pool, which comes with the overnight stay - a perfect way to spend the day even in bad weather. But let's be honest, anyone who goes to the North Sea knows anyway: There is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing.All in all: A charming hotel with character that invites you to stay and come back. Here you will find warm service, a top location and cozy rooms - with a chime and stair workout for free. We'd love to come back!

I stayed at the Hotel Zur alten Post while I was in Büsum this summer. I added more details in my BlackandPaper magazine. The service was good and the room was really nice. The location was perfect in the center, a few minutes walk from the beach.The breakfast buffet was perfect with a great selection in a charming setting. Dinner is really popular, deservedly so, I recommend a reservation. Would I say the service? Yes. But in a Germany rough around the edges way.Yes. I would stay at Hotel Zur alten Post again.

We slept in the hotel for 2 nights. Rooms clean and pleasant size. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and good and there was something for everyone.All the staff were very friendly and helpful.Even if, for ecological reasons, the rooms are only cleaned after every other night, in a four star hotel (170 € per night) I would have at least expected that the dishes used (cups and glasses) would be exchanged for clean ones every day and the beds would be made.We used the parking lot behind the youth hostel because everyone at the hotel was full. But it wasn't a bad thing since the parking lot was free and only a 5-minute walk away.Bicycles could be safely stored.Hotel is very nice, but the price/performance ratio doesn't suit me here.

On the whole we were satisfied. The staff was really very nice and service-oriented.Unfortunately the night was very short due to the church opposite. The clock bell rang every half and full hour.The breakfast was good, but found it a bit overpriced at €23.50 per person.
