Everything was very nice, but the service was unfortunately not very service-oriented. Didn't feel very welcome.

The Brauer Schnitzel was incredibly tasteless, all the seasoning didn't help. If food is offered in this price range, then it should be tasty. The beers are ok, although they are even better in Bamberg. Overall, the food was rather disappointing.

The furnishings in Fässla are rustic and cozy. The staff impatient. But the worst thing was that a cut of beer (= half a beer, which is usually poured a little better than half full) costs 3 euros. For comparison, a 0.25 l shot costs 3 euros, a 0.5 l beer costs 3.70 euros. That's a disgrace.

The Fässla offers something for everyone, a small beer garden in the inner courtyard, a bar for the “quick drinker” and a rustic restaurant. And there is wonderful Gold-Pils and (my favorite) lager fresh from the barrel, the delicious Zwergla and, in the Bock beer season, Bamberg's strongest Bock. The daily menu offers delicious and inexpensive dishes. But the snack menu is also recommended. And if it takes longer, you can also spend the night wonderfully. Now at the weekend I'm going there again with the handball boys for an excursion. Always a good base station for Bamberg trips.

I spontaneously came here for dinner in the evening and was assigned a place at a large table where another couple was already sitting. The beer we ordered (Gold-Pils) and the “Viennese style” schnitzel with potato salad were brought quickly.Unfortunately, I didn't like the beer (because it seemed stale) or the food, which was, in my opinion, unseasoned and served lukewarm. The lady in service gave me and my table neighbors the impression that she was overwhelmed. At the time of my visit between 6:30 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. all the tables were reserved, but the majority of the guests only arrived when I left the restaurant.

The food was good, as was the beer. I was there on a Saturday lunchtime. It was full of visitors and loud. The waiters were quick and did their best. Anyone who goes there should know that it is a popular restaurant with a high frequency. At least on the weekend.

Extremely unfriendly staff, they didn't want to serve 20 year olds a shandy.

Decent place for a beer. Didn't eat here so can't comment, but went for a beer two times during our visit to Bamberg. Courtyard at the back busy with locals. Good atmosphere and decor.
