Simply WOW!!!That's why we've been to the mountain village of Sterr a few times, always in a chalet - and we'll definitely be back! 😊The houses are so lovingly furnished with everything you need. Real attention was paid to the smallest details, which just complete the whole thing!Our highlight: the whirlpool and the in-house sauna - you can comfortably spend hours here.The first-class cuisine is particularly noteworthy; we almost always order the hut menu, which is always delicious and has great portions.The breakfast is also super pleasant and is already waiting for you when you get up relaxed in the morning, with a large selection of delicious things (which you put together yourself the day before)!The chalets are also great for families with children - high chairs and beds are available on request.Cleanliness top!The location is great and there are lots of activities around and of course there are also numerous offers directly from the hotel.We've had a great time there so far and can only recommend it.Everyone is super friendly, accommodating and helpful! 🙂We are already looking forward to the next time!Many greetings from Stephanskirchen 😊

2 weeks of pure relaxation in the chalet, fantastically beautiful!So far we have decided on two different types of vacation. On the one hand, pampering in a hotel and on the other hand, peace and solitude in a holiday cabin. That was yesterday - now we have discovered the mountain village of Sterr and here we have found everything we wanted. Luxury, wellness, great service from all employees and the entire Sterr family. But when we wanted some peace and quiet, we stayed in the chalet, swam in the natural pond and fed ourselves. Admittedly, this is rather rare ;).Breakfast is brought quietly to the chalet in the morning according to your wishes, the table is beautifully set and everything is perfect for a wonderful start to the day.Hiking, swimming, sauna, lounging, whatever you like.The possibility of the absolutely recommended hut menus/Being served hut delicacies in your own chalet is unique and you should definitely enjoy it.Like everything around. Not to be forgotten is the most beautiful garden I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying.THANK YOU to everyone who made our stay so unforgettable.Very personal note: we were there with 2 dogs, for whom the chalet was perfect. Unfortunately, one of them became very seriously ill shortly before the end of their stay. In this situation too, we received help and sympathy from all sides. There were a lot of emotional conversations and that is not to be taken for granted. Unfortunately the little one did not survive his illness. We had 3 wonderful and relaxing days as a couple in Chalet No. 1. Good service, great wellness area in the hotel with a beautiful outdoor area. We are going home very happy and will definitely come back again :-)

We were guests in Chalet No. 1. The facilities and service are great.The chalet is spacious and leaves nothing to be desired. The food is always delivered if requested, so theoretically you don't have to leave the accommodation.We got house number 1 because we came with a dog and it has a small fenced-in garden plot.Breakfast and dinner are excellent. Quality and quantity definitely match.We would recommend the Bergdorf Sterr at any time!

We stayed in Chalet No. 5 from December 10th to December 17th, 2023 and are absolutely thrilled. The chalet is really beautiful and leaves nothing to be desired, be it the sauna, the whirlpool, the wonderful fireplace or the great bathtub - you can feel more than at home here.The wellness area is also great, from the great indoor and outdoor pool to the whirlpool and the sauna area, the hotel complex leaves nothing to be desired.We tested both the hut delicacies and the hut menu and can only be amazed at the cuisine; the quality and price-performance ratio are excellent. Particularly worthy of mention is the great communication with the Sterr team and of course also with the boss Michael Sterr, all wishes and suggestions were fulfilled. We wish you a nice Christmas and a good start into the new year in Neunußberg and look forward to two more great stays in 2024.Stickel family

Our expectations were exceeded. Very nice chalet furnished with a lot of love. Very nice staff who make the stay very pleasant and leave nothing to be desired. We were able to relax really well here and enjoy the peace, the good food and the comfort in the beautiful chalet. Many thanks to the staff who made our time in the chalet so lovely.We will be back!

Simply great!My husband and I and our two dog ladies spent a long weekend in the Sterr family's beautiful chalet village in March.Everything was simply perfect - Chalet Kathrein leaves nothing to be desired: rustic, luxurious furnishings throughout the house, a mega-large bathroom with everythingComfort. There is also a beautiful sauna and cozy corner with a great outdoor whirlpool.A super plus for us:the fenced garden. We had a very relaxed time with the dogs at all times.Service and well-being are really important to the very friendly owner family and their employees... the boss himself brings over the hut menu in the evening. And very warm and charming.Big praise to the kitchen team: Everything we had on the menu tasted excellent and was very appetizingly prepared.This was the second time we were guests in the Bergdorf Sterr - and we will definitely come back.

We have stayed at the hotel several times and this time we treated ourselves to a chalet. It was simply wonderful and nothing was missing!!!! As a heat-stricken woman, I was particularly pleased with air conditioning in the sleeping area. We had breakfast brought to us, it was more than plentiful and everything was delicious.Sauna and a whirlpool outside, that was pure luxury, great!!!!We had dinner at the hotel and, as always, it was excellent.The new relaxation room is very successful, we were also able to visit one of the new suites, also a dream!!

Super great chalets, every little thing has been thought of and very rustically furnished with lots of decoration to make you feel good. The service is simply great. Beautiful wellness area, delicious food and everything is extremely clean. Our short vacation in the Bavarian Forest couldn't have been nicer.

We stayed in the chalet over the weekend, it was wonderful. Everything was just right there. Own whirlpool with a view of the mountains, great sauna in the chalet and in the hotel, excellent food and a fireplace in the living room in the evening. Everything you can imagine is available. The hotel's outdoor pool is 32 degrees, so you can swim out all year round, surrounded by a fairytale garden. You immediately feel comfortable and can simply enjoy and switch off. Thank you, dear Sterr family!
