The hotel is a bit old, but the friendly staff and good breakfast make up for it.

Small family hotel, we found the hosts to be very friendly and helpful. The rooms are a very good size, ours had a balcony with a partial lake view. Some of the windows have fly screens, a small refrigerator and a pedestal fan are also part of the equipment. Yes, it's not modern and clean, but that wouldn't suit a listed house either. It's also a matter of taste. The breakfast is very good and gets even better when you can go out on the terrace when the weather is nice. Additionally there is a refrigerator with drinks for sale. There are enough parking spaces available. Only the WiFi is often weak. For us it was a pleasant stay.

We were there with 4 people for 2 nights. The hotel looks back on a long tradition and definitely has its own flair.Unfortunately, we immediately noticed a certain "stiffness" when we entered the building. Gammel/Alt probably describes it quite well. The rooms, on the other hand, were clean, well-kept and beautiful. What we unfortunately noticed very negatively was the poor breakfast. We were really looking forward to that. On the one hand, the coffee was simply bad, almost inedible, the sausage was fresh on the first day, but there was virtually no choice. We were really shocked when the next day we found the exact smoked ham that was on our table but hadn't been touched. You can see that it has been standing longer because of the discoloration. The rolls weren't worthy of a hotel either, from the basically raw egg, really raw inside, to the tiny amount of orange juice, it was just ridiculous what was on offer. It's a shame because the hotel is definitely not cheap.

We were guests here for 2 nights. The room was large and clean. It was too quaint for us, everything was very old and worn out. The mattresses were pure torture for both of us. When showering, we always had to struggle with water temperature fluctuations. The breakfast was OK and the staff was very friendly. Priced too high for what is given.

My favorite hotel of our vacation... the island is beautiful, the staff is kind and helpful, and the included breakfast is excellent. Rooms were comfy and the windows had screens which... why are these so rare in the region???? But it was nice to have the country air wafting in in the evening (mosquito free, no less).
