I arrived to find the place utterly deserted, with a note saying it was closed due to death. I tried to contact the property and had zero response. So, had to make other plans to stay somewhere else! And lost CHF700. Absolutely appalling situation.

Unfortunately I couldn't give it less than one star. Otherwise I would love to be in the red.The service was unfriendly and insulting.That's what we call service😉She also smelled extremely bad, was more than inflexible when ordering ice cream (it wasn't possible to change a scoop of chocolate to vanilla for an ice cream sundae) and in the end she overcharged by 4 CHF.That was the worst visit to a restaurant I've ever experienced. And I've been around a lot in my life.

I would give zero stars but unfortunately that's not possible. Service disaster II was insulted when I ordered because I wanted to swap a scoop of banana ice cream with vanilla (which was what the menu said). Unfortunately, the guests and the owners have a very low standard. Never again. In addition, the hostess smells strong.

Worst restaurant I've eaten terrible service trying to cheat on remaining money food cold cold and tastes like it's coming from a gutter so recommendation -20 or -50 so if you want to throw your money at the window then you can go there

We received a very warm welcome from the younger employee, but we found the older employee to be a bit unfriendly. When you sat on the toilet, you were also sitting under the sink and had direct eye contact with your neighbors. People with arachnophobia should avoid this hotel. The location was very nice.

Always free parking spaces (also for motorhomes), terrace right on the street (so you can always see something with the many bikes and cars idea.) but also with a great view of the lake and the island of Reichenau. The food is good, home-style and always wonderful. We always enjoy coming here. If you still have your SUP with you and/or want to tie in the lake, you are also in good hands here (parking spaces only in connection with the restaurant)

Outside yuck, food yuck. To my surprise, the food was extremely tasty, the veal schnitzel was tender as butter, good fries and the apple strudel was great. Unfortunately the building is no longer in the best shape, but there is nothing wrong with the service or the food.

Rooms are old but clean. The breakfast is very, very good and plentiful, I was amazed at what there was. I would like to say thank you for the good breakfast.

The food was very tasty, which you wouldn't think at first glance. The restaurant makes a rather "shabby" impression and the toilets are not very clean. It's a shame that they didn't invest in the ambience. Service was very nice and the schnitzel and vegetables were excellent.

Good hotel, although not entirely new, but with charm in a beautiful location right on the lake. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and don't miss anything, as long as you can do without the monster TV. The breakfast also lacked nothing and the family members who run the hotel were very friendly, accommodating and always concerned about our well-being. The very good dinner also deserves special mention: whether meat, soup or vegetables, everything was well prepared and of good quality. We can't imagine finding better accommodation anywhere else, especially in this price range. All around: highly recommended!

We enjoyed a Chinese fondue with friends. It was very tasty, good quality meat, several side dishes, a discretion. The service was very friendly, accommodating - just perfect for feeling good. There is also a direct view of the lake, a large terrace when the weather is nice and a spacious parking space. We'll definitely be back.
