Game was quite good, other dishes had a bit too much salt. Bourgeois cuisine. 2 event rooms.

As part of an extended weekend hike with a friend, we fortified ourselves with a hearty lunch of traditional German dishes at the Landgasthof Sonne. I can't say anything about the hotel part.I enjoyed a pork loin steak with salad and croquettes, while my companion ate a roast game. The two waitresses had the shop well under control and were very friendly. The food was also, which is not a given on a Sunday afternoon, prepared quickly and very tasty. However, my portion would have liked to have been a bit larger. Nevertheless, I was well strengthened for the rest of the hike.On sunny days you can also dine in the shady beer garden. Since it was less than 10 degrees Celsius during our visit, we relaxed in the cozy, traditional dining room.

It takes extreme overconfidence to rent out rooms in this condition. The price of 90 euros is outrageous. We had booked 3 rooms - of course assuming that the description on the homepage was approximately accurate. All 3 rooms were in a very inhospitable condition. There was mold in every bathroom. It smelled musty everywhere. The furniture was very worn. There was water damage above the bed in one of our rooms that hasn't been repaired since January. At 30 degrees there were thick winter beds. Despite the rural area, none of the windows had insect protection.

Worst hotel I've ever been to. Check in only from 5 p.m.!! Rooms ancient, completely run down, mold everywhere in the bathroom.

We were at the inn today: the food is clearly above average! Schnitzel, pork loin steak and sauerbraten with fries, spaetzle and also the dumplings were great. And: all three different sauces were a delight! In my opinion, the salad could have had a little more character. Conclusion: upscale Swabian cuisine at fair prices. We'd love to come back!
