The first time for me in a hostel. I had a room all to myself and felt very comfortable. Rooms and bathrooms were very clean!Mirella (the boss) is a very nice and friendly host!

Fine for a short trip, 20 minutes walk to the Burg town center.- no WiFi- no regular TV program- Internet TV cannot be set- no food as such- Mattresses saggy, hard- Room care 2 out of 5 points+ Kitchen in the room, everything is there+ private bathroom with showerArrival from 4 p.m. and departure from 10 a.m.(When I booked it said "arrival 3 p.m. and departure 11 a.m."As of: August 17, 2024

Price performance ratio is not right! You have to share rooms with strangers. Everything is in a dilapidated state - I wouldn't recommend it to anyone

Not for children!Unfortunately, the first impression was confirmed. The hallway & rooms stink of smoke. Shared bathroom and toilet - oh ha. You have to like a glass door. The location isn't really that great unless you go one house further. Better to keep driving. We didn't want to stay here for one night either. At least the boss gave us the money back and was understanding. But for 150 a night you can expect more.

Imagine a simple hostel (We had our own room with private toilet/shower) with darkened corridors, stinks of smoke.Mysterious things crawled under the kitchenette (brown things that looked like big beetles)Not worth it at all. The feeling was that it was a bit sunky.An alcoholic aunt let her little dog run around and bark at people until 2:30 a.m. down by the outdoor dining area.

Completely okay for one night, nicely located at the harbor. It smells like smoke from the pub in the hallway, but no problem in the room and very clean! The boss Mirella is very nice! Price is acceptable.

Good location at the harbor and spacious room. However, problems with the water draining in the toilet, shower & sink, as everything was inexplicably connected. In other words, blockage, overflow or the flushing stops.Some spiders and cobwebs, things that you shouldn't ignore in housekeeping even in a hostel. Especially when the price promises more.

Sleep overnight on the way through Germany. Good price. Clean rooms. Toilets and bathrooms are shared but individual, spacious and fresh. Access to kettle, tea and coffee in the room. We had quiet neighbors but could notice that it is thin walls and responsive, which could be a problem if people around are louder. But clearly an affordable place to stay overnight.

Clean rooms and clean bathrooms. Price a bit high. Unfortunately it is located directly above the Haifischbar, which plays loud music until after 11:30 p.m. Therefore no recommendation.

Everything was very clean, lots of space suitable for families. The boss is super nice. Next door there is a restaurant with really great food.You feel very comfortable with a view of the harbor.

Large room and everything clean. Very nice view of the harbor. Mattresses are not great but okay. BUT... Rooms are above the very popular Haifischbar and it can be loud until late at night, especially on the weekend!

Clean and tidy hostel. Sanitary rooms are good, location is nice right on the harbor. Very nice owner. Check-in from 4 p.m. in the Haifischbar.Suggestions for improvement:Introduce occupied/free for the sanitary rooms.Darken the glass doors to the hallway so that you don't get annoyed by the motion detector in the hallway.
