A little oasis for us. The tent meadow is located on a small island in the Altmühl and can only be reached via a pedestrian bridge. Small swimming area.You camp in the shadow of Pappenheim Castle.Relaxed audience.Sanis old but clean.We have been there several times for a weekend and have always felt very comfortable.

The man at reception is very, very unfriendly... I'm not the first to complain about that. I haven't seen the sanitary facilities in such need of renovation in a long time. Otherwise it's just a meadow on the Altmühl... nothing to complain about but not particularly nice either :-)The only nice thing is the proximity to the castle and the city center.

The wash house is getting old and is now being renovated. Otherwise it is very quiet and relaxing

Beautifully located campsite a short distance from the center of Pappenheim. Unfortunately in very neglected condition.In many years of camping, we have never met such an unfriendly campsite operator.

Beautifully located, natural place. Everything you need is within walking distance. The sanitary facilities are functional and clean. Friendly reception.

Rarely have I been received so unfriendly anywhere. The man in the cash register clearly didn't enjoy his job. The place is still beautifully located, swimming is not entirely ideal but possible. Sanitary facilities clean.But be careful of the hogweed directly on the benches by the water.

Well, the price is okaySanitary facility old but clean.Unfortunately a negative attitude towards dogs, which I found very unfortunate.A family with 2 dogs and a puppy was not wanted on the site. However, we were granted 1 night.

The lawns were a little unfinished. The environment was pleasant. It was good to go for a run with the dog. The sanitary facilities are old but clean

Beautiful nature campsite on the Altmühl. However, it only offers a few shaded areas and it is often used by boat and bicycle travelers for short stays. The sanitary area is a bit older. This is cleaned daily and is in good condition. Unfortunately there is no playground for children, only a small sandpit. There is no shopping on site, only a small drinks bar.

Owner friendly, accommodating and customer oriented. The place = more nature and less camping. Plenty of space to set up tents or park the camper. The CP needs a fresh-up in the infrastructure. Food on site is virtually non-existent - just cold drinks. Definitely fine as a place to stay overnight while paddling on the Altmühl.

Minimalist and close to nature. The tent meadow is located on a small shady island on the Altmühl; The mobile homes are parked separately on a large, sunny meadow.There is an option to swim in the river or dock a canoe at your own risk.The sanitary facility is quite old, no chair seats on the toilet. The showers are free.Very inexpensive - €10 for one person with a small tent.The location is great, right on the Altmühltal cycle path, a 5-minute walk to the town center and 10 minutes to the castle. Perfect for cyclists.
