First the positive. It's a very nice place and the sanitary facilities are perfectly fine. Unfortunately, when we arrived the lady at the counter wasn't very friendly. We hadn't quite decided whether we wanted to stay until Friday or Monday and they said very flippantly "I have to know that". And there was only one spot available until Friday!Furthermore, the hidden costs for garbage and tourist tax are not okay.

This year in July 2024 we booked a parking space for July 2025 and also paid a deposit of 50 euros. Unfortunately, due to personal changes, we are no longer able to take this vacation. The deposit was not refunded. Not even proportionally. I find that very unfortunate and absolutely unfair. I now see the 50 euros as a donation. Could possibly be used to renovate the sanitary rooms. Oh yes . The best for last. We'll definitely never come back. Promised !

Clean campsite by the lake with plenty of space for all vehicles. Electricity, water and decent showers and toilets as well as a small restaurant complete the whole thing. The price is absolutely right

A very well-kept small place with very friendly staff. There are enough parking spaces. Sanitary facilities are adequate but always clean. A small selection of groceries. Bread roll sales every day from 8 a.m. A vending machine at the entrance also has some treats. There is a small beer garden. Unfortunately closed on Sunday. Unusual. Everyone should have a flashlight with them. The lighting on the square is very modest. The little funnels with beer advertising are more of a decoration. Dogs are allowed. Whether welcome??? The place is heavily marked with signs telling dogs not to do their business anywhere. If this happens we have always eliminated everything and??? Unfortunately there are no trash cans anywhere! You always have to go to the entrance/exit of the site to the waste container. Unfortunately, this is also a problem in the immediate area. There are many poop bags in nature because there are no places to dump them.Internet and WiFi fluctuate greatly. There are other restaurants about 5 minutes away. A swimming opportunity with a lifeguard. Unfortunately, swimming was not possible for us. Lots of blue-green algae.

We stayed here for 3 days at the end of May.Space isn't bad in and of itself,Ideal for cycling tours on Lake Altmühl and in the surrounding area. There is a restaurant on site, the sanitary facilities are clean, so far so good. There is space for short-term campers behind the reception, but it is not acceptable (our opinion/assessment) Crammed in like a sardine in a can, close together, zero privacy, we had problems getting our bikes out of the awning because we were right next to the campsite . Then it would be better to allocate one less place or say everything is occupied/fully booked.

Nice campsite with tent meadow, clean sanitary facilities, pitches arranged in a circle, small opportunity to go out for dinner, 3 minute walk to the lake

On the way home we booked an overnight stay on a Saturday at short notice based on a recommendation. It was the end of August and we got the last available parking space. This always indicates the popularity of a CP. Telephone and personal contact with the boss were very friendly and informative. Since the restaurant offers a barbecue on Saturdays, in our case henderl, knuckle and rolled roast with side dishes, we of course took part. It tasted great and the portions were plentiful. Prices for food and drinks are absolutely in the light green range!! Super friendly staff! Just family. Sanitary facilities are decent, although a bit old. Cleanliness ok, which of course also depends largely on the campers. There are all plenty of parking spaces. Unfortunately only electricity at the pitch. There is no water or sewage, although it's a short distance away but for a longer stay it's a knockout for me. Criterion. Telekom cell phone network works well. Leisure opportunities on and around the lake have already been described in abundance. Anyone who goes there knows what to expect. But unfortunately the blue-green algae have been ruining swimming fun on the entire lake for almost the entire summer for years. Anyone who has ever come into closer contact with it knows what I'm talking about. The place is often visited by families with small children. If you don't like that, you should avoid him. The parking space costs are reasonable for what is offered in the overall package. A total price all inclusive would be more pleasant. In our time, however, a chip card system with precise billing is more than desirable. The parking space in Stade is a prime example of this. Copy it!

Nice campsite.Unfortunately our campsite was right at the entrance. But otherwise great.Short route to Altmühlsee and there is also an adventure playground with a small stream. Great for the kids.Food on site is good but a bit expensive.Dogs allowed and otherwise very quiet.
