Stayed here on the Rhine cycle path. The room itself was basic. What was extraordinary was the view from the terrace into the garden, the really delicious Riesling and, above all, the friendliness of the hostel parents. Perfect for unwinding!

I've never been there, but I walk past it every day.It couldn't be neater and cleaner, at least from the outside!Everything is very lovingly designed - it really looks like it does in the picture - always!

Very friendly landlord.Wonderful house with a very, very beautiful garden.Located directly on the dike.Absolutely calm.Enjoyed a delicious breakfast on the terrace with a wonderful view. ☕🧀🍞🥚🍉

We stayed here for one night during a bike tour along the Rhine.A great apartment -superbly furnished. We had the triple room, comfortable beds, nicely furnished and a great, bright bathroom.The lounge is cozy and nice and big. The kitchen well equipped.Sitting on the balcony you could relax after your bike ride and watch the many birds and frogs in the great garden. As a bonus there was fresh strawberry cake and coffee, which was absolutely fantastic!The breakfast was lovingly prepared, very tasty and absolutely sufficient!We can definitely recommend the accommodation! For cyclists on tour anyway, but I can also imagine that you can also make yourself very comfortable there for a vacation.Thank you for the great hospitality!

Ms. Ellenberger lovingly takes care of a pleasant stay in your guesthouse. The room was beautifully decorated, the bathroom was wonderful! Daylight and with shower AND bathtub.In front of the room there is a large common room with a television and a fully equipped kitchen, which makes it possible to store or cook your own food. There is no own television in the room. Personally, I don't really like that because I would like to retire after my work. I found the people sitting and talking there in the evenings a bit annoying. But that's a matter of taste and doesn't detract from the overall picture.The breakfast was great and prepared by hand. Ms. Ellenberger takes care of everything.The internet is incredibly fast and the WiFi reception is very good.Thanks! I will definitely come back when I'm in the area again!

We are cycling from Cologne to Strasbourg with our children (4 years and five months old). It is incredibly difficult to find accommodation between Mainz and Mannheim. We ended up with the Ellenberger family very spontaneously - and that was our luck.A huge hospitality that comes from the heart. A fantastically beautiful garden. A perfect location right on the bike path. And a sauna!We came to camp in the garden, but then spontaneously went into the garden house, which saved us having to set up and take down the tent. Everything was very well maintained and made with love. Very child-friendly - you just have to be careful with the garden pond.For breakfast there were regional products, some of which were homemade.For us it was a wonderful short stay. We would come here again at any time. If you are traveling along the Rhine: here is a great, cyclist-friendly accommodation - don't miss it!
