The campsite is very nicely located. The sanitary facilities are up to date, the kiosk and beer garden are also very good. We were here for a day on our canoe hike. The only small negative point was that the shower water was unfortunately not really warm.

The staff could be friendlier and more attentive. We were there for the first time and would have liked some basic information about arriving, for example that you have to buy a card and have it charged to use the showers and that you can only use it to get to the washing up area.Unfortunately, the staff made a mistake when booking our boat, so we didn't get the boats we had booked. They miscalculated the refund. It's not all that crazy, but at least a "we're sorry" would have been nice.The complex itself is really nice and you can easily spend a night or two there. Boating was really cool too.

We were here at the motorhome parking lot and were very satisfied. Price performance greatYou can also eat very well at the kiosk, but the portions could be a little larger. Groundskeeper and staff very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back.

Very nice place to stay! Had loads of activities such as paddling and fun camping here. The staff are amazing and very friendly. The schaferwagen was nice and comfortable for one night!

Were there with the motorhome. Had a reservation on the lawn with electricity. Unfortunately, all power stations were already occupied and therefore no electricity was available. The place is mostly occupied by tents. Quiet times were not observed and everyone ran over your place. Unfortunately the staff was very unfriendly. Once and never again, unfortunately I cannot recommend this place.

We stayed on the pitch. Super cheap, highly recommended and absolutely dog-friendly. Great water places where you can let the dog swim and fantastic scenery for hiking. At the reception, every dog receives a kind of happy meal with contents... dog poop bags, treats, basic food and advice on first aid and camping with dogs. Since I have a really big dog, we even got 2. Me and my giant bear were totally thrilled. We would love to come back and felt totally welcome. Little bear is looking forward to the nice staff sharing their lunch with him again... ..hahaha

We borrowed a boat here and took a tour on the Altmühl. The lady's recommendation to take us to rooms and then end up here again was great.The view was extremely beautiful.And like the water slide at the end, a real highlight.Went to the beer garden afterwards. Here too, very nice staff and fair prices.Absolutely recommended!

We always enjoy going to the campsite because it's fun to swim and canoe in the Altmühl.The showers and toilets were clean (only hand soap was always missing from the toilets).We also enjoyed having a drink and eating fries in the beer garden.Maybe next time there will be chicken nuggets again 😋Overall, a recommended tent site/campsite 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Very nice campsite. Friendly staff and good food 👍I don't understand all the complaints about the rest periods. If you go to a campsite, then you go there to sit around the campfire, chat a bit, drink... if it gets a little louder, then that's just the way it is... if that bothers you, you should go to the hotel

Sanitary facilities are ok, proximity to the river is nice, but no one is interested in sleeping at night here. Loud conversations between drunks until 3am seems to be the norm.
