Last Friday we had our summer party with a vineyard tour and a subsequent stop at the ostrich restaurant.Since several colleagues arrived late, we had to improvise, which wasn't a problem. Wine was very tasty, which is why some people took some with them.It was a completely successful event for us. We would come back at any time!

There are good types of wine everywhere during the tour. We were there with colleagues from the company. We were very well advised. The history and the different types of wine and their production were also well explained.I would like to recommend it to others.

It's not easy to reach by public transport, but it was still a more than successful afternoon in the autumnal vineyards.Good wine. Snacks (bread + cheese/sausage) okay. Compliments to Manuel and Jorje, our tractor drivers of the day.

Very nice ride in the covered wagon through the vineyards with Weck, Worscht and wine. Afterwards, delicious food at the winery.

We went on a vineyard tour with a group of 12 people in September 2022. Unfortunately our train was canceled, which is why we couldn't start the tour until 30 minutes later. Of course we informed the winery about this and they said on the phone that it wasn't a problem. When we got there we were received anything but friendly. We were treated condescendingly, very accusatory and simply not nice or hospitable at all. It was directly said that 30 minutes would be deducted from our journey. In addition, 2 out of 14 people were absent for the day due to illness. Even though we have already reached the minimum amount, the 2 people were billed. As a result, the winery earned an additional 60 euros, which was simply a rip-off. In addition, the quality of the wines was not good, there was far too little water on the cart and the snack was a joke. Overall, we cannot recommend the winery. Stay away from the funzel ride!!!

A great place for a weekend trip or a longer stay for people seeking attractions in the nearest viccinities of Oppenhein, or those who have some business to do in Mainz. Me and my friend Daniel visited the JGU, and we went to Mainz by bike, no problem at all, it took us slightly above one hour and the biking routes were excellent. The accommodation was rather simple, but good enough for two guys on a business trip. The apartment is very spacious and we had separate bedrooms plus a living room and a small kitchen. I stronly recommend it, instead of taking a hotel in the center of Mainz, which is rather expensive.

Today we went on a vineyard trip with a friend on the occasion of her birthday. The wines were great and we had a lot of fun. Gladly again!

We were there with the club. There was pre-ordering of food and wine tasting for those who wanted. My meal 12 euros roast wine with spaetzle and red cabbage in a microscopic amount 😕☹️taste was ok. Reordering didn't work. Chef served himself. The wine tasting for 7.50 euros per person for our table of 7 people. Personally, I think it's too expensive for 4 wines in half-full tasting glasses. When we asked and begged, we were given salty pretzels, but only once. On the drive home we thought about where we could get something to eat. 😜😂😂😂👍. I don't recommend it if you're hungry. We won't be going there anymore, there's good wine everywhere. The location (dining room) was nice. Toilets outside just across the yard, unheated. We were guests from 7pm to 11:45pm and it was a cold night in November!
