Unfortunately, I don't really like the food here

"What am I doing here?" - This question, which was displayed on the pinboard of our seminar room in that hostel as a thought-provoking stimulus for the class, pretty much described my thought process when visiting the Schwanberg youth center.Unfortunately, we were forced to visit this inhospitable facility for three days as part of a school program - regrets already appeared on the desolate journey over the curved serpentines of the Schwanberg, which gave you the feeling of near death on the bus - what are the Dolomites compared to that?Let's start with the food, which we already knew over coffee and cake on the first day immediately after arrival that it would ruin our trip.The food at the Schwanberg youth center is a disillusionment for anyone who has ever eaten in a restaurant. It was probably kept for several days, particularly unusual for tasteless vegetables and fruits, and tasted like ready-made canned food - insofar as it had any taste at all, see tea...The food was so unbelievably inedible that we were forced to call a supplier, who we rushed to Schwanberg to compensate for the unsuitable food.Unfortunately for God, one of the comrades to be pitied had literally found a hair in his Bolognese soup, which looked extremely similar to the head hair of the cooking staff in charge.Our only place of peace: the rooms - you might think that at least here we could have heard a spark of well-being - well, you thought wrong. The rooms were designed so simply that you thought you had been transported back to the Stone Age. In addition, there was a sense of disorder throughout the monastery grounds.The design of the area was so off-putting to me that I would have preferred a camping trip in the forest to this stay.The sticking point, however, was our carer - the mutually respectful and matter-of-fact way of dealing with each other, which was appealed to during the off-putting, ominous, ineffective, forced and unsuitable cuddly toy throwing and tower stacking games, unfortunately did not satisfy the lady to the desired extent - the lack of understanding in the expression of individuality by young people, what I consider to be a rude tone of expression, the rigorous and consistent insistence on one's own opinion and the vain look at a person with whom one is communicating lead me to that conclusion.All in all, I obviously can't recommend the Jugendhof Schwanberg - this place is only for the most hardened...Finally, I would like to mention that satirical means and exaggerated statements were used. Beds are made of rubber and quite uncomfortable. Food wasn't really good. Doors are also like in a retirement home
