Ferienhof Bockelmann

We spent a long weekend in the Wümmegrund apartment on the Bockelmann farm and are absolutely thrilled.Review in short form: consistently positive, definitely recommended (especially for families!)Wümmegrund:- Large south-west facing terrace with 2 deck chairs, a table and chairs- Pleasant size for 2 people (1 small bedroom, a large bathroom, and a large living-dining area)- modern furnishings, not overloaded, no unnecessary decorative frills, but still very comfortably furnished with lots of solid wood and a few calm touches of color- reasonable, high-quality furnishings in the apartment - you can tell that attention has been paid to details (many hooks in the bathroom to hang up toiletry bags or towels; enough storage space; in the kitchen there is a bar on the table in the corner to prevent crumbs and dirt from accumulating accumulate, etc.). You can tell that care was taken to ensure that the equipment was of a certain quality (no cheap furniture, high-quality kitchen, shower, sink, etc.).- Right next door is the small farm shop where you can pick up your freshly baked bread rolls in the morning via the bread roll service- simple, very friendly and uncomplicated communication with the hostsHof Bockelmann:- The farm is very large with many different buildings, the entire area is very spacious- There are many great opportunities for children to keep themselves busy on the farm:- a newly built cable car (was great fun!)- we saw straw pigs, goats (which like to be fed), horses & cats- There is a play barn with a hay corner, trampoline, table tennis table, table football, a small play area and a fleet of various pedal tractors- another large playground with several slides right next to the goat enclosure (4 tree houses are currently being built there)- Fire pit that could be shared- The absolute highlight was the Turmberg, which is only about 200m behind the farm and offers an incredibly beautiful view over the heathland. From here you can also start great walks and hiking tours, as you are directly in the nature reserve.- The farm café offers a large selection of tarts and cakes (there was even a vegan apple pie), the furnishings are a bit old (especially in comparison to the newly built tree houses and the modern furnishings of our holiday apartment). Very friendly staff who are “on their toes” and think for themselves.- great transport connections: even if you live in the middle of a nature reserve, it is only 10 minutes to Bispingen, where there are many different leisure activities such as the Snow Dome, trampoline park, go-karting, etc. Soltau is about 20 minutes away (the thermal baths are highly recommended) and if you need even more action, you can also visit the Heide Park Soltau.We spent a few great days on the farm and have already warmly recommended him to those around us. We'd love to come back!

The Bockelmann family's holiday apartments are located on a very idyllic farm, with lots of play opportunities for children and young people.The goat petting zoo with the friendly animals also led to a very nice leisure activity.Large, clean and beautifully furnished holiday apartments ensured a relaxing stay.The farm is surrounded by beautiful hiking trails and other offers such as carriage rides.Unfortunately, the treehouses weren't finished when we were on vacation, but they fit in very nicely into the landscape. They would definitely be worth another visit!The farm shop offers, among other things, a large selection of bread rolls with a delivery service.The farm's own café also offers a wide range of cakes and tarts in the afternoon.We received a very warm welcome and after our holiday we can only recommend the farm! :)

Very spacious and lovingly landscaped farm directly in the nature reserve. A paradise for children and adults with an indoor playground in a huge barn, a playground in the forest, animals to pet and feed, etc. Very friendly hosts - available at any time and very helpful. The children were able to move freely around the farm and had a lot of fun. We really liked the large holiday apartment with two bedrooms and garden. The baby equipment package helped us a lot with our 1.5 year old son (baby bed, changing bucket, high chair, etc.). There is a farm café, a farm shop and a bread roll service. We particularly enjoyed the stick bread evening and the farm tour. You can also ask whether pony riding is possible. We hiked directly from the farm into the heath, but also went on wonderful trips to the surrounding area, such as to the wildlife park. The hosts have many other exciting plans to further expand the farm. This year, tiny houses and tree houses for overnight stays will be added, and further projects are already being planned.

A great farm for a relaxing family holiday. There is a lot to see and experience. The farm has many opportunities to keep yourself and the children busy. The apartment was beautiful and well maintained. The courtyard café is cozy with rustic charm. The hosts are friendly and helpful. We are happy to recommend.

We had a very nice short vacation in the cozy Turmberg apartment. The play barn with the many vehicles was absolutely amazing for our child and with the large Kettcars the enthusiasm spread directly to us parents. We are already thinking about when we can come next time.

We spent a few very relaxing days on the farm. We lived in a holiday apartment that was very clean and beautifully furnished, there were fresh flowers on the table and everything had been thought of for small children. A barbecue area in front of the door could be used, but the farm cafe also served delicious cakes in the afternoon.It is in a very nice, quiet location and there is a lot to experience on the farm. The goats were allowed to be fed, there was a nice playground outside and a large play barn with a straw castle, trampoline, lots of vehicles, etc.

Beautiful farm located directly on the nature reserve. Everything is lovingly furnished and that's exactly how you'll be welcomed there. The farm shop has everything you need and you can get fresh bread rolls in a nice atmosphere.The cafe is one of the best in the area.Playground, play barn, goats to pet, pigs and ponies that you can ride… that was great. There is something for every age.We can only recommend it.

Ideally located in the Lüneburg Heath Nature Park. Ideal base for bike tours and hikes. The holiday apartment is perfectly furnished, clean and bright. The farm shop is open in the morning and in the afternoon you can enjoy the finest cakes under the shady trees. A great experience for those seeking relaxation and nature lovers from the “south” and near the Alps. Gladly again.

We enjoyed a wonderful week of vacation at Hof Bockelmann. The cozy Stühbusch holiday apartment offered plenty of space for us and our children with its two bedrooms. The farm is a true paradise for children, with a play barn full of entertainment options such as a trampoline, straw playground and go-karts. The location at the starting point of many hiking trails through the enchanting Lüneburg Heath was perfect. The hosts organized an unforgettable carriage and tractor tour, and the farm shop treated us to fresh bread rolls and local delicacies.
