That was the 3rd time in Ruhpolding and the 5th time in an Aja and unfortunately the last time! Too much has changed for the worse with too many restrictions and the price-performance ratio is definitely no longer there:- WiFi keeps not working- Parking space for 12€ in the middle of nowhere, the underground car park in Garmisch is 1-2€ more expensive but is covered and warm and accessible via lift from the lobby and rooms. In addition, at times there was no free space, which is not possible.- Drink prices were probably diced and water and 1/4 liter of wine that were previously included are now added at horrendous prices. Water can be refilled, but you first have to get someone from the staff to do it for you. 1 bottle (0.75) of rosé wine is cheaper than 2x 1/4l house wine- You now have to register meal times in advance and the buffet will be closed between the two slots. I know this from Garmisch but not yet from Ruhpolding and I find it incredibly annoying. Despite having children, I don't want to go out to eat at 5:30 p.m., but I don't want to go out to eat until 7:30 either. There have never been any problems with space in the past. In addition, we were told the wrong time on the first day (start: 7:00 p.m.) and when we asked in a friendly manner at the restaurant, we were corrected in a very didactic and unfriendly manner. All right, thanks for the hospitality... The buffet is now packed (queues stretching all the way behind the bar) so that sometimes people prefer not to eat rather than stand in line, especially since the buffet is also partly empty because everyone comes at the same time and is looking for the same things Unfortunately, if the gears fall down, they are not filled up as quickly and in some cases they are not refilled at all.- The water in the indoor and outdoor pools was too cold last year and this is also the case this year, especially the whirlpool and the large indoor pool are anything but a pleasure. This can also be read in the guest reviews and Aja seems to have been checking this, as well as the high parking prices, for years without success...what customer service! The small anteroom of the outdoor pool is the warmest, which is why everyone is there. In addition, the pool area is extremely overcrowded, day guests (who are also allowed to park in the same parking lot) are allowed to go swimming, and sometimes you don't get a lounger - everything is more than problematic, especially with children. Then I can also go to the local swimming pool for €3.50.- Suddenly there is no longer a Chiemgau Card. Too expensive too?!- The rooms hardly have any space to hang up wet things. The suite we stayed in this time didn't have a single hook - toiletry bags, clothes, etc. only found space around the ink head or in the room. Since the rooms are only cleaned every 2 days as standard, you constantly dry yourself with damp towels, especially in the cooler season, which never really get dry.- Last but not least, opened the closet in the room upon arrival and found one of the things from the previous person. Wonder how long it was in there. When it was handed over to the reception, nothing was said but only a surprised smile. The next day we found more dirt and toys - they apologized but the things were not removed until we left. We had to remember to clean the rooms because the rooms weren't cleaned even at 4 p.m. We also had mascara or some kind of smear on our fresh bed sheets that were never changed in 5 days and there was a gap between the sink and the glass shower wall that has probably never been wiped but is wonderfully visible thanks to the glass shower...Conclusion: For a suite with half board for €340 per night plus parking space and drinks, together with the points mentioned above and the constant reminding, reporting and queuing, it is unfortunately not (anymore) worth the price in my opinion. Very unfortunate

Positive: The staff tried to be friendly.Negative: Room facilities, "mountain view", price/performance ratio, overcrowded spa area with day guests, market hall charm at breakfast, parking options.Would book another hotel in the region next time.

Absolute recommendation!A great hotel with very friendly staff! The pool and spa area is very clean and modern, the lady at the pool bar is very friendly and enriches your stay there. We were also very impressed by the range of treatments in the spa area and the friendly staff. The service staff is also very attentive and polite. The rooms are the perfect size and are modern and clean. The hotel also offers great offers such as guided hikes, morning aqua gymnastics and guided e-mountain bike tours. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come again! The price/performance ratio was very convincing in the Aja Ruhpolding.

My friend got food poisoning at dinner and ended up in the hospital. Another woman came from the hotel to the hospital that same evening with the same symptoms. They asked for a diagnosis from the doctor, which we brought. Nevertheless, they didn't come to meet us but instead celebrated that we got the money back for the parking space for the days we didn't use. The problem was not recognized and the processes were not checked. It's a shame for everyone who continues to book there.

A beautiful and modern hotel suitable for families and couples alike. The view is great, the wellness area is nice, the staff is very friendly. The only thing that bothered us was the bathroom, which was only separated by a curtain/sliding glass door, and the expensive parking fees.

Actually a great wellness hotel. Unfortunately there were a few annoying little things. I would have liked to have had the opportunity to have a connection to my cell phone or YouTube or other apps on the TV, because there is also an Aja service page that was linked to. There was also no balcony. There are generally hardly any rooms with balconies, which meant that the view couldn't be enjoyed perfectly. At night you could hear a lot of trampling, even though we were on the second floor and there are no hotel rooms above. Nevertheless, it was good that there was a hairdryer in the room and the room was nicely equipped with a movable wall-mounted TV. You could open the glass doors/windows completely, which I found very good because it got extremely warm in the room at night. The beds were incredibly comfortable (I've never had such good beds while traveling). There were enough sockets and lights. Nice shower and room in general. There was a small closet with a rod for hanging clothes, a small closet with drawers and on the wall there were 3 hangers for bathrobes. There were bathrobes, sauna towels and normal shower towels in the room. However, I don't know if these were free because at the end a service fee of €10 was charged and we missed what this was for because we didn't use any extra service. The spa area was nice and sufficiently empty for the end of October. Over the course of the day it became a bit inedible due to screaming children playing in the nice and warm heated outdoor pool. The view from the outdoor pool was magnificent. Recommendation: Be sure to go into the warm outdoor pool at 7:30 a.m. when the spa opens. There was no clock in the outside area, so you had to keep going in to find out what time it was (important for infusions in the sauna and peeling for the steam bath). The steam bath was very small (8-10 people), which is why we couldn't experience a peeling. Unfortunately, the infusion times could only be found on a board from 1 p.m., so we couldn't use any of them because we had planned a hike for the afternoon (infusion times were: 3:30 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m.). There was a 90 degree sauna, a 60 degree sauna, an ice cube dispenser, showers, a relaxation area to lie down and a steam room. It is also perfect for hiking as you can quickly travel to many places from there. There were a lot of hikers there, so our spa area was emptier on Saturday, but it was full on Sunday (depending on the weather). In the spa area there were toilets, a whirlpool, lockers for external guests, a large infinity pool without heating (at least it wasn't very warm), and a bar. Room keys were two cards. We had breakfast included in the price and it was very great, large selection with pancakes, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, various types of muesli, various breads and croissants etc. There was also tea, coffee, cappuccino etc. And juices for free. What was annoying was that we didn't know whether the champagne was in the room because we spent our honeymoon there or just because. The sparkling wine was then charged at €15 on the bill. In total we paid around €180 per night, but unfortunately I've had better experiences. So the price-performance ratio wasn't that good, but overall you can take a look at it.

Hello, we came to this hotel based on a recommendation. It is very nice, modern and bright. But a big BUT, the included coffee break only runs from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.! And you have to wear street clothes and not go there in a bathrobe like before! Because all of this was told to me on a recommendation. The evening buffet is also very vegetarian-heavy and hardly has any real meat components! The service is good, but here the waitress sometimes tells you to tip, as well as when you order a drink, only in a glass/carafe and not in a bottle! This is not good because you cannot understand the calibration line/fill line! If you check, dehoga would be happy. Now to the parking lot, the house guests have to pay while the day guests for an apple and an egg at the DaySpa have parking included, this is a complete rip-off! There are also sometimes more day guests in the spa than hotel guests and there is almost no space for them to lie down, a no-go!This hotel is highly recommended if you don't expect much and are out and about more. As a pure spa hotel it is still very lacking, other hotels with a spa are much better, and unfortunately this is the truth. If these deficiencies were corrected, it would be a much more pleasant hotel to stay at.VG
