We spent a nice week on the farm, the houses are furnished with everything we need, the boys loved the Kettcars and it's only 15 minutes to the lakesabsolutely recommended

We stayed in a holiday home with our family, 4 adults and a toddler, in June 2023. Communication with the landlady was great, the facility was very nice. The house was very clean and everything was available in the kitchen. This applies to crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils and appliances. You can order bread rolls from the landlady in the morning. Feeding the animals - rabbits, goats, sheep and a deer - was always a highlight for the little one. There is also a good middle-class inn (Höhenluft) next door with good food. Attention, it is only open in the evenings. We cycled a lot, which always gave us a good climb in the evenings. A thumbs up and full rating from all of us.

We have enjoyed going there before with our small children. The complex is quiet, perfect for children as they can let off steam. The yard not only offers enough play space, but there are also vehicles, a trampoline, a sandpit, animals, a football goal and much more. The holiday apartments and houses are cozy and comfortably furnished; simply to feel good. The hosts are super nice and always helpful. The community on the farm brings parents and children together (if you like). It's a fantastic area that offers a lot for all ages. That's why we still enjoy going there today, even though the children are (almost) grown up.Always my pleasure!

Very well-equipped holiday homes in a quiet and idyllic location and not too far from the lakes by car. Ideal for families with small children, as there is a playground, vehicles and many animals right on the farm.

The farm advertises that it is suitable for small children and this is where my rating comes from. Because in my eyes he isn't.The positive first:-Bread service- Ms. Ballenberger is nice and so is Grandpa- Apartment/house is nicely furnished- The area is great-Good value for moneyBut-It is advertised here that a holiday with small children is possible here and that is not the case --The yard is open on all sides. If you really have a small child with you, you're just keeping up with it so that it doesn't get lost- The pond is fenced off, but the fence feels like a 2-year-old just has to lie against it and bubbling, he's lying in it.- The yard looks “stylish”. I felt like you had to run after the kids all day and say something like, "Don't run down the hill, you might break something."- Some things seem very regimented. For example, there is a “race track” around the house. Here you can drive long distances with Ketcars or with Bobbycars etc. Now explain to a 2-year-old that he is only allowed to drive there and not anywhere else on the property, even though there is, for example, an inviting path leading to a wooden hut. You can only drive in one direction - one-way street. You can do that, but it's completely unsuitable for 2-3 year old children. You also drive directly past an area where there is a lot of stuff outside and which also looks inviting for children. So you basically always have to go along and pay attention. Because there were also many sources of danger for a (small) child.-In my opinion, the small play area outside is not for small children either. E.g. the play and climbing house. It goes up about 2 meters, maybe more. But the whole page is open. This could have been secured very well. But you're just busy jumping around at the bottom and trying to keep the child from getting so close to the inviting edge. There is no security attached there.- there is a playroom inside...well...it looks like a furnished classroom. Rather unsuitable for children. It feels like you're confronted with rules everywhere that make the whole thing seem very static and I just didn't get there. I somehow had the feeling that you were out of place with a small child. The hostess is nice, but not really welcoming. I found it rather uncomfortable there and overall not well thought out. The whole thing seemed rather static. Small weaknesses in cleanliness could also be mentioned, although they did not interfere with the overall concept. We know a few farms in the area and I found it defensively uncomfortable here. And as I said - not for small children... babies, yes. Children aged 5 and over are definitely great too. But in between - no. But if you don't have small children, it's nice there.
