Spent the night in Pension Elan for about two weeks. It was a perfect place. Room was really super clean. Nice view from the balcony. Frank and Heidi are very nice owners. Received a lot of advice about the possibilities in the area. You will receive the AktivKarte here. With this card you can get free access to many places. Museums, swimming pools, etc. But also free transport by bus and Waldbahn.Breakfast very well organised. The Pension also has chilled drinks in the cellar at a good price.Bayerisch Wald is perfect for walks.Pension Elan is a 4 star guest house for a nice two star price.Recommended to book here.

Very family and friendly run guesthouse, the rooms are well equipped and very well maintained. Breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. You can sit comfortably in the beautiful garden or go hiking from here. We'd love to come back.

This was the second time we stayed at Pension Elan for a week, and it was just as nice as the first time. The welcome was like coming home, you felt incredibly well looked after.The excellent breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired and should you have any special requests, they will be fulfilled immediately. The rooms are immaculately clean and functionally furnished and Frank gives you lots of good tips for your free time.We immediately booked again for next year before someone snatches the date away from us.It was another completely successful holiday.

Familiar and super friendly, we will definitely come back and meanwhile dream of the delicious breakfast buffet. I have never experienced a guesthouse run with such passion, we found it wonderful and felt like we were at home. I was particularly impressed by the impeccable cleanliness! Our line dancing group of 12 awaited us in a beautifully located guesthouse on a hillside. The first impression was great! A hospitable owner welcomed us and introduced us to the location. Tip-top clean and modernly furnished rooms with ultra-modern bathrooms that have been thought through down to the last detail. This can't be nicer in a luxury hotel!On top of that, the beds are a dream!!!And then the breakfast buffet the next day!! There was everything your heart could desire and more. And it was always refilled and refilled.All in all, a sensational stay and highly recommended. A big thank you to the landlord for the friendliness and service. We all felt really comfortable.

Beautiful view over the Bavarian Forest, clean, cozy rooms with bath, nice balcony and plenty of opportunities and facilities to enjoy yourself in the evening after activities outside the guest house. Breakfast was fresh and plenty of choice at the buffet. The owners are very friendly and helpful and explain everything. With the Aktiv card you receive you can use many facilities in the region for free.In short, highly recommended!

A small family-run guesthouse, the kind you know from before. Very friendly hosts, helpful and accommodating.The rooms are very clean, the beds are comfortable. There is a beautiful and large garden with the possibility of grilling. We were able to taste beer from the local breweries, and Frank had good tips and recommendations for us. We'll definitely come back.

We were here for the first time and absolutely loved it.First of all, we were warmly welcomed and immediately familiarized with the premises.The rooms are lovingly and modernly furnished, were very clean and had a beautiful view of the Arber.The rich breakfast leaves nothing missing, whether different juices, teas, sausage, cheese or muesli - it's all there.Nothing else is missing, the rooms have everything you could imagine.If necessary, there are also good tips for excursions in the region.In any case, we are looking forward to the next time.

The bedroom was so comfortable, with good space, and a beautiful view. Absolutely clean. With sauna und infrared. The owners are so gentle and provided us in everything we needed. A delicious and well served breakfast. We had a wonderful time there.

We just arrived today, received a warm welcome, super friendly, freshly renovated rooms, great bathroom, it's not that big, but very comfortable and very clean, we still have to test the breakfast, but great reviews, nothing can go wrong We went, enjoyed the breakfast, it was varied and there was something from everyone, you could express your wishes and it was delivered, we have already booked for next year because everything else was already taken, thank you very much for the lovely week

We've been here for the fifth or sixth time now and we look forward to it every time. We are always allowed to check in to our beloved room 1, with a view of the Arber. The breakfast buffet is always a pleasure, with everything you need for a good start to the day. And the hosts Heidi and Frank... warm, friendly and thoughtful as ever...We always enjoy coming back!

Neat rooms, with shower, toilet and balcony. Beds made daily, clean linen if you need it, sauna in the afternoon for the two of you, extensive breakfast and last but not least: very nice and helpful owners, who think along with you. E.g. use two free ski equipment days with your activities pass.Recommended for couples!
