Were just there for a walk around Lake Madlitz. Afterwards we treated ourselves to a piece of delicious cake with a latte machhiato. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Enjoyed the remaining rays of sunshine in the beautiful and quiet landscape. It doesn't get any better. Pure relaxation.

All in all, the price-performance ratio is not right. In the end you pay for the remote location of the hotel, that's my impression. I have to say that the peace and quiet we were looking for was sometimes significantly disturbed due to gardening work using an excavator.Our double room with a lake view was very cramped and seemed shabby. The small refrigerator (minibar) was helpful. The pillows are flat, mattresses are hard. Additional pillows were provided upon request. The bathroom is very narrow, you can only turn around in it. Our room had no mosquito protection on the windows or doors, so we were constantly hunting for mosquitoes and bugs. Overall, the stay did not contribute to relaxation.Booking via the hotel website is a bit tricky. It is not possible to specify 1 adult plus child in the "Hotel" category; the "Technology" then automatically jumps to 2 adults plus child. In the end I only paid online (unknowingly) for 1 adult and on site for the child, after I informed them that the debit of the money only took 1 guest into account. Overall, the cost breakdown for 1 adult plus child in the Seeblick double room is incomprehensible to me and leaves me with an uneasy feeling.The breakfast was good.The service staff in the breakfast area were attentive.

We stayed at Gut Klostermühle for our honeymoon. Everything was just wonderful; the room, the location, the spa area and the food. The absolute highlight was the dinner in the monastery barn. Jola's service was simply top and everything was beautifully prepared! If you come in a wet season, it's best to take boots with you for walking around the lake ;)

The hotel and wellness property is located in the middle of nature. The very nice staff made our stay a really nice time.The breakfast buffet is very varied. There is also enough choice for special diets (e.g. vegan or gluten-free).The spa includes several beautiful and clean saunas. Unfortunately the selection of loungers is limited. Since many loungers were also reserved with towels, you couldn't always relax on a lounger after visiting the sauna. It is a great pity that the rules specifically state that the loungers cannot be reserved with towels, but the employees do not ensure that this rule is adhered to. In addition, there is no storage space for towels and personal items in the indoor pool area, so you are forced to use the loungers while you are in the water.Another positive thing to mention is that sections of the area (especially the breakfast restaurant and spa) are connected to each other by a tunnel system and can therefore be reached quickly and comfortably even in bad weather.

All in all, we can't recommend the hotel, especially at least our room (Haus Kleist) was actually unreasonable, extremely small, you can only sit on the bed, the bathroom was terrible, also very small, shower with mold, bathroom heater doesn't work, like that It was very uncomfortable that the towels hung over them were still clammy the next day. The location is great, the spa area is also very nice and because of the great weather we don't leave too upset because we were out and about a lot. The breakfast was good, but not sensational, we didn't even try the dinner because of the bad reviews, and we also didn't like the fact that you could only choose one menu. We had dinner in the surrounding restaurants and were very satisfied there. It was really great at the Loosgut adventure farm.

Overall, the location is really great, right on the lake. Fantastic.To the hotel:The hotel is not recommended. Very dated decor and rooms. The furniture is all thrown together, like on the rest ramp.There were several spiders in the room and not just small harvestmen. The window sills in the room are dirty, there is dust on the shelves and the lampshades are full of fly shit. It makes you wonder how long ago the cleaner visited.To the restaurant:My food was lukewarm when it was brought. The sauce was very bland, not to say it didn't taste like anything. The portions are also very small. Other guests were also not satisfied.The highlight was the service: the service staff was immediately annoyed when it came to putting several tables together to form one large table. She was very stubborn about minor changes to the dishes. In order to reorder something, I had to go to the counter and was sent through three employees until I could add an order.As beautiful as the property is, overall it's not worth a visit. Only the receptionist was very friendly and accommodating and not annoyed by guests.

We are amazed and super relaxed. Anyone who likes peace and seclusion will get their money's worth here. It's best if you book the Finnhaus like we did. Beautiful! The staff is super friendly, the spa area is not overcrowded and the meals were delicious. Made it onto the “We’ll be back” list. Thank you for the lovely days!

The entire staff in all areas impressed with their friendliness and attentiveness. The service was always very reliable. The extensive complex and the spa area are very well maintained.The children were welcome and enjoyed the two pools. A wonderful stay in a quiet, relaxing environment with a beautiful lake. We'll be back.
