We performed our civil wedding at the Rosenhof. The day was perfect from start to finish. Starting with the preparation of the room for the wedding, which is also offered on site by the city of Felsberg. Loving selection of flower arrangements and the charming view of the great rose garden. This is an absolute highlight no matter the season.The service is also first class.We selected a really great autumn menu together with Ms. Mayer Stahl. This was a great taste experience from the first to the last course. Lots of attention to detail and everything beautifully prepared.We also had an overnight stay in the hotel including breakfast.After this great day the next morning with a cup of coffee and the great view of the garden, we were able to reflect on what we had experienced and our hearts were full. Thank you for this reminder.

Ms. Mayer-Stahl and her husband are excellent hosts with attention to detail. We have been to the Rosenhof several times and are always pleased with the consistently high standards, both in the rooms and in the food. The lovingly furnished rooms and the cleanliness are impressive. Ms. Mayer-Stahl has been in the kitchen herself for decades and it shows. Ms. Mayer-Stahl's very high standards, combined with the high-quality products from the region and her professional skills, distinguish her as an excellent cook. This claim becomes clear again at breakfast. No overloaded buffet, but manageable portions with fresh local products. As always, we were very satisfied and would love to come back. Finally, I would like to once again point out the very pleasant and extremely modest appearance of the two hosts.

Zum Rosenhof is a hotel/restaurant out in the country. You can have English tea under the shade of a tree and surrounded by roses and other flowers. Twinings tea with cucumber and salmon sandwiches. Scones with jam and clotted cream. It was interesting speaking to the owner. It was our second visit.

This year a family reunion was planned in the greater Kassel area. A little away from the hustle and bustle of the city, we decided on the Rosenhof. And what can we say, we haven't regretted this decision in the slightest.The rooms were clean and stylishly furnished and we had two wonderful days that left nothing to be desired. The stylish ambience continued in the restaurant and was accompanied by a hospitality that we have rarely experienced.Rounded off by a variety of excellent dishes, it was on the one hand the very attentive service and on the other hand the short conversations with the cook and her explanations that made the whole thing an unforgettable experience.Thank you for the excellent service, the nice conversations and the delicious dishes!!!Greetings from the Grunz family from Basche, the town on the Deister!

We were able to stay in an extremely beautiful and tastefully furnished room for a weekend. The hosts fulfill every feasible wish of the guests, including culinary ones. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive.

Once again one of my few bad reviews, although we would have liked to share the positive reviews, but... A few months ago, a circle of friends requested a celebration, but the booking did not take place because the response to the request was very delayed and unprofessional. Wanting to give the Rosenhof a chance, they still booked an overnight stay for the event. This was canceled at very short notice due to a lack of staff, while the Rosenhof wanted to plan the event with the guests at the same time (shortage of staff?). The (non-)guests' confusion was then dismissed in a highly unprofessional manner with strange and inappropriate statements.My conclusion: If you plan your celebration "during" Corona and want to be sure that it will take place... well, it's probably better to plan it somewhere else. Especially in times of "Corona", the catering industry should know what satisfied guests it has and in times of "Google" one should avoid negative reviews.It's a shame, but I don't recommend it.

Teatime at the Rosenhof in Hesserode is an afternoon holiday with romance and relaxation in the beautiful rose garden. Plus tea, sandwiches and sweet tarts. What more do you want?
