We visited friends there. After our tour with the motorbike we went swimming in the Thiersee. It's a nice little lake that isn't overcrowded. We'll definitely come back more often.

The campsite is in a great location and it's really great here.What is absolutely not possible are the catastrophic conditions in the sanitary facilities. I have never seen anything so dirty at any other campsite in the world. It feels like there hasn't been any cleaning here for the last month. Really disgusting and unacceptable.

We stayed here for two nights while traveling through and we really enjoyed it. The reception was always staffed when we needed something. The sanitary house makes a good impression from the outside, but more attention should be paid to mold inside. One star deduction for asking for a specific spot in advance and being assured by email that it was still available for us. Unfortunately, when we arrived, no one knew anything about it and we were accommodated somewhere else. The place was beautiful, but unfortunately a bit small for our team. Despite this, we would definitely come back!!!

Friendly lady at reception, but no campsite for us. Many permanent huts and, for tour rooms, places where you can look at the rubbish or stand behind fixed places. We drove on to a beautiful farm campsite.

Very nice welcome and always friendly at the reception. Great location right on the lake. Good starting point for hikes. There is enough space for parking spaces. Unfortunately, the new wash house was not clean, the ventilation system was dirty, black dots in the shower cubicles. With a proper basic cleaning, it's actually a great wash house.

A very nice campsite located directly on Lake Thiersee. Direct lake access and parking spaces at the lake. We received a very friendly welcome, the sanitary facilities were clean and tidy.

Camping in a beautiful place but which has a lot to improve such as the sinks where the dishes are washed. Exceptional welcome. Cons: 50 cents for showering is not acceptable.

The place is actually very nice and located right on the lake.There was just partying all weekend and it was extremely loud. The toilets were only cleaned once during our stay (1 week) and not very thoroughly.Update: The sanitary facilities are now cleaned more often :)

Beautiful area, good walks, dogs allowed, right on the water, very nice lake, farm next door not a problem for us. There is still a lot of room for improvement in sanitary facilities! Small pub and not far from the village.

Nice little campsite in Thiersee (Austria) directly on Lake Thiersee. The Thiersee is not very large (approx. 2.5 km of decent hiking trails all around), but it is very clean and pleasant for swimming. There are woods on the shore of the lake so that you can go directly into the water by boat or SUP. There is also a metal staircase leading into the water.The campsite consists of several camping areas and an inn, which is run by the owner herself. There are changing guests at the lake and there is a permanent camper area behind the inn.The sanitary building is quite new and extremely clean. Shower for euros at the payment machine.The landlady is very nice and accommodating. When we arrived (spontaneously in July...) there was a big festival in Thiersee and the place was fully booked. Nevertheless, she still found a place for us, even with a perfect view of the lake.We wouldn't vacation here for 14 days, but it's very nice for a few days.

The mobile home is in a meadow (horse paddock) right on the road and you couldn't park at the lake. The washhouse is relatively new and ok. There are three telephone numbers given if no one is there - all three are called and only the voicemail is reached. We then left an envelope with money because no one was there on the second day either.
