Since the renovation in summer 2024, the hotel and restaurant has been excellent!!! Highly modern and comfortably furnished. The food tastes excellent. There were a few small problems at the beginning, but these are small things that will definitely be resolved very soon. Service perfect and friendly. Clear recommendation and THE ADDRESS in Güls for a delicious meal, family celebration or anything else

I spent four nights at WohnGut and felt very comfortable there.The hotel management and staff are always friendly and very accommodating.The WohnGut has been recently renovated (as of October 2024), the lobby and dining room are very attractively designed, and the rooms are friendly and clean.You can have a wonderful breakfast at WohnGut - I just didn't need the music for breakfast, but everyone probably likes it differently.For in between, there is the in-house small supermarket with snacks, drinks and small utensils (toothbrushes, deodorant, disposable razors, etc.) at moderate prices.I really enjoyed the sauna area, which also includes a roof terrace that cannot be seen from the outside.About the location: Güls is still part of Koblenz, but has a village character, which makes it wonderfully quiet. It's easy to get to the city center by bus or regional train, but depending on the time and bus connection, you can't always use the stop in front of the door, you might have to walk 10 minutes.The location near the Moselle is great for hiking. The hotel has maps with hiking and cycling routes in the area, which are easily accessible by public transport (some even on foot).Overall, I had four wonderful days with a great price-performance ratio - if I go hiking on the Moselle again, I would be happy to come back.

We (15 people, business event) had a TOP stay in the newly renovated WohnGut Koblenz. Very competent and friendly service, great cuisine (breakfast and dinner), diverse drinks menu with fine, local offerings. Rooms newly renovated and like new. Every individual wish was made possible. We'll be back.

Unfortunately, the window area of the room had not yet been completely renovated, so at least a note would have been nice. At night there were faint humming noises that made it very difficult to fall asleep. The hallway leading to the rooms is extremely noisy.The bar area has been renovated in a super modern way, the staff is nice and accommodating. The restaurant is also recommended, very tasty food!

The hotel has undergone a major renovation and rebrand over the past six months and the results are nothing short of impressive. From the takeover to the implementation of the new concept, attention to detail was worked on - and you can feel it in every corner of the house.The ambience is a perfect mix of modern design and cozy charm. The furnishings radiate elegance and high quality and create an atmosphere in which you immediately feel comfortable. The hosts and the entire team fully embody this spirit: their warmth and positive charisma make a significant contribution to making guests feel at home. Special praise goes to the hotelier couple, who, with a lot of passion and attention to detail, have implemented a concept that is second to none.The rooms are spacious, very clean and furnished to a high standard. We had the pleasure of staying in room 308 and even with two adults and a toddler, the stay was more than comfortable. The hosts, who are parents of two children themselves, understand the needs of families very well. This is also reflected in the family-friendly atmosphere of the hotel.The current menu offers a small but fine selection of high-quality dishes that suit every taste. The Aperol Spritz is an absolute highlight – perfectly mixed and simply delicious.We are already excited to see how WohnGut Koblenz will develop until the official opening and look forward to coming back. This hotel is an absolute insider tip for anyone planning a stay in Koblenz or the beautiful Moselle. The surrounding area also offers numerous leisure activities for families, making the hotel an ideal starting point for discovery.In short: an all-round successful hotel that we can recommend without reservation. Yes, the house has a new operator. Yes, the house is in transition and you can see it on every corner. Here's a cable that's still hanging out of the wall, there's a ventilation pipe that's dangling out of the ceiling or that corner where a piece of floor is missing. Aaaaaab! We were guests in this house for a birthday party, let's start with the arrival. As soon as you entered the hotel, the new owner was at the door and greeted you personally. We continued to the reception where we were given a very friendly and warm welcome. Check-in went smoothly, as did booking breakfast, which we also wanted to book. Off we went to our room on the 3rd floor. The skylights were redone and you could see that there was a piece of wallpaper missing around the edges. Not bad. The room was spacious with a large bathroom. The beds very comfortable. In the evening then down to a separate room. This one also still had traces of the renovation. The banquet table was beautifully set and the service was very attentive throughout the evening and we never missed anything. I particularly liked to mention that the owner was always there and actively supported his team. The meal itself was a poem. Very finely seasoned dishes, attractively presented and served quickly. The celebration was a complete success and it was really fun to be a guest.After a fairly short night, we were looking forward to breakfast. And here too we found a lovingly prepared buffet. The queue in front of the coffee machine was very long at times, but that wasn't a bad thing because everyone waited patiently. The warm department also has everything your heart desires ready. Nuremberger, meatballs, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs and bacon. The bacon was a little too pale for my taste. But when I asked for a portion of bacon to be thrown back on the grill plate, it was done directly and in a friendly manner.Conclusion: The house is in transition, a fact that you have to be aware of when booking here. We were always able to feel like guests and have rarely been so ensnared. In the entire team you can see the desire to move the house forward, everyone does their best to serve the guests excellently.In any case, this hotel is already worth a visit and I look forward to visiting it again when the renovations are all finished. I wish the Theis family and the entire team every success

We had 1 night in the hotel.We received a very friendly welcome. The rooms are new and tastefully renovated.We (6 people) literally enjoyed dinner in a side room.Food - very good, furnishings and ambience very modern and tasteful.The manager of the house took care of our well-being and was very friendly.Breakfast the next morning was very good.Despite the top service and amenities, the price is reasonable, not over-the-top or overpriced.The location is not super central, but it is easily accessible and very quietWe enjoyed our stay and can only recommend the hotel

I have been in this hotel since May 24, every week for 2-3 days. The renovation was a complete success and they created a very nice hotel. The rooms are modern and adequately equipped. The employees are the gold of a company, and I can't say anything negative here, they are all very friendly and helpful - thanks and congratulations to the team and owners.

Everything here was perfect. Friendly efficient staff, good clean room, free parking and an attractive dining area. Situated in the outskirts of Koblenz , right by the River Moselle, this is a very convenient place to stay. Always best to book direct and avoid third party middlemen.
