We had two very nice evenings on the Mitteralm. Everyone was incredibly nice and open. The breakfast was especially great, we'll be back.

We were there for dinner in the afternoon on the way back from Wendelstein, unfortunately the salad with schnitzel strips was very tasteless and the schnitzel strips were also cold, the food was too expensive for the way it was prepared.

We stopped here for lunch on the way back - the menu was small but nice. We were all full, but the unfriendly tone and the dismissive laughter when I asked about a dish prevented us from coming here again!

As often mentioned, the Mitteralm is well located for tours in the Wendelstein area with overnight accommodation. Everything clean and well maintained. But what is absolutely annoying is the poor service and the bad-tempered tenant.This is simply not how you treat guests who want to stay for an overnight stay after a strenuous climb. The whole thing culminated in absurd discussions about vegan nutrition with my adult son. It certainly won't happen again.

I was there for the second time this year and I can only say it was wonderful again. The breakfast is super delicious and any extra requests were happily prepared for dinner. I'll definitely come back, we had a wonderful weekend. Thank you all 3 for the successful hiking weekend.

I can only agree with the many negative reviews. They confirm everything we have experienced. Food was good, rooms were clean. But the unfriendly landlady with her mood swings doesn't work at all. She can really ruin your evening. At first I thought that maybe it was because of our 12-man troop. After consulting with other overnight guests, it was clear that these negative vibrations only came from the landlady one-sidedly. If she speaks to her staff the same way she speaks to her guests, then goodnight.

Rooms clean, but be careful in the sleeping area because of the ceiling height :DPetra is a very nice eager woman, I can't confirm the mood swings (stayed 2 nights)Kitchen highly recommended with hut classics and changing daily specials

We stayed here for one night with a crew of new men and were amazed at how neat and clean the rooms and sanitary facilities were. The food was very good and the prices were absolutely moderate. Well, and Petra - it's not easy for her on the mountain pasture either. She's all alone and has difficulty finding staff, so she has to do everything herself. You quickly forgive her if she seems stressed. If you sit down with her for a while and take the time to talk, you quickly realize that she is a kind and funny woman.

We were very spontaneously accommodated in the Mitteralm. Everything was wonderful for us. We had a good dinner, a good night's sleep and a good breakfast. Our questions and concerns were dealt with flexibly and friendly.We felt very welcome and well looked after at Petra and would love to come back! Thanks again!

The cogwheel train ran over the landlady's liver one too many times. The ticket office at the cog railway is not staffed and there is no information anywhere. You obviously don't know the area and need help, but you're just chatted up instead of seriously trying to help. The only thing that counts is the paying customer, everything else doesn't receive any service. Really ruined the mood!

We used the Mitteralm for a stopover on the Wendelsteig descent.There was Flötzinger beer and the snack was also very tasty! The toilets were very clean.

Nice climb through the winter path. Food and service OK. Also accessible with the Wendelstein cog railway. Sleeping areas completely renovated.

Very very tasty food. And flötzinger beer. Friendly staff. Clean toilets.Steep ramp at the beginning makes it a bit difficult for smaller children, but you can also run up and down on the cog railway. Always happy to come back.

In itself a really nice hut with a great location, the hiking trail there is also great. However, the landlady Petra can really ruin your stay, which is a real shame. I don't understand how you can be so rude to guests? Then why do you even work with people if you obviously loathe them so much? Unfortunately not recommended at all... which is a shame. If the hut got a new tenant, I would come back... unfortunately not. With every question you have to be happy if you only hear an unfriendly no... Hospitality is ZERO!

At the end of the hiking season we stayed at the Mitteralm for two nights. We particularly liked the warmth of the landlady and the lovingly prepared food. We have decided to come back here next year.
