We had a wonderful 85th birthday today.The food was very tasty and special requests were easily accommodated.The guest room is very comfortable, we felt completely at home.Thank you very much for the lovely lunch

We were in Dortmund to visit relatives. Since the Hotel Kerzan was nearby, we booked there. The room was large and spacious. Wooden furniture, separate living/sleeping area. The bathroom could be a little bigger. Flat screen TV in sleeping area. The breakfast was good and plentiful, but a good price. Parking spaces are behind the house or at the front on the street. We were satisfied and would like to come back. The restaurant is certainly very good, unfortunately we couldn't try it.The restaurant also has 2 larger rooms for celebrations and 3 bowling alleys.

On Sunday there is a menu where soup and dessert are included. You can choose the main course from a smaller menu. I had a super juicy turkey steak with peach gratin, my husband had a senior plate with roast, mashed potatoes and cabbage. Everything tasted really delicious 😋. The service is super attentive and totally friendly. We will definitely come back...

We went to the restaurant to eat, didn't make a reservation, but were lucky to get a table. The memory card is supplemented by a season card, good home-style cooking, very pleasant ambience. This time we were there on Wednesday and tried the menu, good value for money. Also suitable for sitting at the bar for a beer. Rooms available for larger groups. However, I would recommend ordering a schnitzel... simply excellent!!!

I had the Ochaenbäckchen. These were tender as butter and melted in your mouth. Unfortunately, the jus, which had a great consistency, was a little too salted. Unfortunately, the vegetables were frozen but not overcooked, with a good bite. The croquettes were very tasty.The service was very nice, although one or two drink orders were forgotten.

We have been guests at Kerzan's for years.The food is always consistently very good, even with the change in ownership the quality has not deteriorated.The staff is always particularly loving and also makes requests possible that are not on the menu.We are very happy to come.

Inconspicuous on the outside, much better on the inside. But what's really important is that the shop is really good gastronomy. The boss and his staff live good old school service; the kitchen is also great. Here you don't get anything fancy, just good, classic cuisine,All in all I would give 10 stars

I was only there to eat. The service team is nice and accommodating. Even if it takes a little longer for the drinks. The map is clear. I think the prices are a bit high. What is on the plate is a small portion somewhere else. I had a grill plate. I felt sorry for the meat because, in my opinion, it died for the second time. I found it very dry. I found the drinks price to be cheap. The toilet can only be reached via stairs. The toilet as such is clean.

I can only rate the restaurant. We were there on a Wednesday evening with 9 people. My wife arrived 10 minutes early and sat without a drink. Wasn't asked for. We sat in a hall intended for celebrations. Very barren. The restaurant at the front looked more comfortable.After 30 minutes we got drinks and the menu. The food came 90 minutes later. Nobody asked for drinks during this time. My shrimp starter was OK. Unfortunately, my entrecot was seasoned with pepper and the fries were too salty. The mushrooms were good. Because we mentioned the long waiting time, the boss gave us a free salad. The salad was boring. We would have preferred drinks. In the end, they wouldn't even ask for coffee or dessert. I am personally disappointed that Kerzan has a good reputation. My friends were also not happy with their food for different reasons.Two steaks were brought. 200g and 300g. The plates passed back and forth between both friends. So what was the 300g steak? The waiter said: "It doesn't matter, they're both the same size anyway." I could mention other things. This is getting too much for me. I was still looking for a location for my 60th birthday. At least not here.Maybe we had a bad day. Despite it. 9 disappointed guests who won't come back and won't make any recommendations. As well as 50 potential birthday guests who won't come. A pity.I didn't take any photos. I was too thirsty and angry.
