Landgasthaus Textor

In the past, when we visit our friends and acquaintances from the Trendelburger Schützen, we have stayed at the Gasthaus Brandner. However, after Brandner went on company vacation, my mother can no longer climb the steep and crooked stairs there and we weren't completely satisfied the last time, this time we went to the Textor inn.The rooms are simply furnished but perfectly fine, there were flat screens in the rooms themselves and WiFi was available in the hotel.Requests such as a triple socket were addressed and a lot of effort was also made to look after the guests.Breakfast was in the form of a simple buffet and the request to have a cocoa with an oat drink in the morning was also accepted (I don't tolerate lactose and don't drink coffee and don't like tea, I had brought the oat drink with me as a precaution and made it available).Overall, the food was good or very good. Only on the day of arrival was I not particularly happy with my Schnitzel Forstmeister. The game dish we had on Sunday was excellent and had a very good price/performance ratio.Unfortunately, the staff is sometimes very stressed but always remains polite and friendly.If I go back down again without my parents (I'm from SH), I'll definitely stop by Textor again.Why only 4/5 stars. It's little things, so the stress among the staff sometimes led to something being forgotten, or the prepackaged ketchup/mayo sachets or the disposable plastic cups in the bathroom, for which I deducted a star.Overall, keep it up.Addendum 2024We are once again guests at the Textor country inn. The service is top, you immediately notice that you are welcome and valued as a guest.The disposable plastic cups in the bathroom were glasses this time and there was nothing wrong with the schnitzel (Thursday is schnitzel day), beaten and breaded by hand.

Stopped in transit for a late lunch. We were warmly welcomed and looked after excellently. I can only recommend it.

Very good food. Reservation of a table would make sense.

The staff is super nice and friendly, even though we were quite late given the time. The food was delicious and filling. Very nice with dogs too! We would love to come back 😁👍🏼👌🏼

We were in Trendelburg as an excursion group and stayed here. The rooms, the food and the staff are great! So rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. The food tasted very good every day and the breakfast buffet was also impressive and tasty.But my personal highlight remains the staff, everyone here is incredibly nice and nice. People always ask whether you are satisfied and whether you need anything. If you meet them in the house and the surrounding area, they are up for a conversation.There are also lovely dogs that you can pet and cuddle if you wish.We/I would love to come back!Thanks for the good time here!Best regardsthe (prospective) geologists from Münster
