It was a transformative experience during the 14-day Panchakarma treatment at Ayubowan (long life) house, led by Karin and her dedicated team. The seamless coordination of the doctor's team with kitchen, therapy, housekeeping, maintenance, reception and administration created a perfect harmony for a relaxed and smooth stay. The dedication of the entire team helped create an environment of self-healing for the body and mind. The Ayubowan House proved to be a true refuge for the stressed and seriously ill. Many thanks to everyone who helped make this healing journey so unforgettable.

In August 2023 I carried out a Panchakarma treatment (14 days).I am overwhelmed by the process and the warmth of everyoneDoctor therapists kitchen staff reception cleaning staffJust arrive and feel comfortable like a big familyThe room was like on vacation, terrace and a starry sky, the bed was great, no sleep or back problemsThe house is wonderfully designed and you can only feel comfortable in every roomAll the applications are amazingyou feel like you were NEWLY born and you radiate it tooThis treatment was the BEST thing I have done and I will do it again next yearThanks to Karin and the doctors/therapists and the entire teameverything was perfectBest regards

I have completed 9 days of Ayurveda intensive treatment and am really impressed. An incredibly warm and competent team. Here you can only feel comfortable. Provided you get involved in the concept of a real cure. It is not pure wellness, but rather aimed at detoxifying the body holistically and sustainably. Every day around 4 applications that activate the detoxification organs and a special meal that is intended to ensure optimal digestion. I really enjoyed the traditional food from Sri Lanka. All in all, I had a great time, including a great yoga course, nice, relaxing hikes and generally a lot of time and opportunity to relax. The partly "simple" furnishings and the lack of luxury didn't bother me; I would give every employee the euros that they don't put into overpriced towel racks. But that may also be because I arrived with absolutely no expectations.

Very typical Ayurveda, 1.5 hour full body massage daily plus other treatments, very tasty food, very nice furnishings throughout the house, very nice staff, especially Dr. Akhil, who cares for his patients with a lot of dedication, attention and expertise.Unfortunately, there is a point deducted because the therapists do not comply with the working time law and some of them are on permanent duty for longer than a month without any days off and sometimes work 10 hours a day.

I was already in the “old” (unfortunately burnt down) Ayubowan - I have to say my expectations were more than exceeded in the new building/Ayurveda center.A completely renovated, cozy resort decorated in Asian style awaited me.The treatments, therapies and cuisine are still unbeatable and still absolutely authentic.The staff became friends during my three week stay.Thank you everyone. See you next time!

Unfortunately, at the time of my visit, the staff was heavily overworked and construction work was ongoing in the building.The treatments in the house, the massages and applications are absolutely recommended and are very helpful for relaxation and regaining one's self, but this was limited by the very improvised other offers in the house, which did not yet correspond to the extent that I had hoped for.The diet was excellent, although of course different to what we are used to as a Westerner. The kitchen staff is absolutely lovely and strives hard to ensure satisfaction.The rooms were extremely different and the structure was still recognizable; the standard to date is still very clinical.But it is noticeable that progress is being made, many areas are being improved and improved.There were already some changes for the better during the time frame of my stay, so I think that the treatment on site can improve in quality over time.I would like a little more depth and attention outside of the treatments, but the potential is there.

Family-run hotel with authentic Ayurveda. Great food, great therapists. You clear your head and have the opportunity to enjoy a relaxing break. The doctor is great. Nice environment. Loving furnishings with an eye for detail. Many valuable tips and suggestions to continue what you have learned in everyday life. Warm atmosphere. The chance to discover Ayurveda as an alternative healing method for yourself.
