Today we were guests at the Jagdhof Glashütte and had booked the gourmet breakfast for 35 people.First of all, we were warmly welcomed by Ms. Lisa Wiedemann and her team, breakfast was served in the Rôtisserie, with a flickering fireplace and a beautiful and lovingly prepared breakfast that left nothing to be desired. To list everything that was available here would go beyond the scope. There were so many things from savory to sweet, warm, cold, an excellent selection of fish, etc.Everything was exceptionally warmly prepared down to the smallest detail and the kitchen treated us to the best egg variants I have ever tasted.Ms. Wiedemann and the entire Jagdhof team were extremely attentive and made our stay something very special.Ms. Dornhöfer took the time to welcome the birthday child and the guests.I would like once again to thank everyone for their extremely professional and very friendly hospitality! We would like to highlight the service and kitchen employees who made it possible for us to have an unforgettable day at the Jagdhof. We say thank you and would love to come back!

We went there for dinner one evening. And I have to say that the ambience, the food and the service were simply amazing. We each ate a cast-on steak with side dishes. Great. For dessert, esspresso and mousse au chocolat from the cocotte. Great. The red wine from South Africa was great. The restaurant or hotel is a real feast for the eyes. Everything was put together very lovingly. You simply have to see it to believe. It is highly recommended if you are spending your vacation nearby. We were and still are thrilled.

Went to the house for breakfast brunch on Sunday. Very friendly and courteous staff. You didn't even notice that the staff was there, only when you had a request did someone quickly stand next to you. The range of food and drinks from fish, sausage, bread, rolls, muesli and yoghurt was extensive, and special requests were also happy to be fulfilled. We felt completely comfortable and will be happy to come back.

We were guests for one night with late check-out in October 2024 and considering that it is a 5-star hotel, we were partly disappointed. We had booked an arrangement for which there was conflicting information. Different services were mentioned in the booking confirmation than in our welcome brochure. Even booking the arrangement was a bit bumpy. The staff were all very friendly and helpful (except for one person), but we lacked the extra service that we expected from a 5-star hotel. We were given no information about our menu in the restaurant and since there were obviously external guests there, we were often confused about our menu. When we asked, we only received short answers and we had to wait a relatively long time. Unfortunately, the 5-star menu did not meet our expectations. We don't necessarily want to downplay the quality or taste of the dishes, but we felt more like we were in a Buffalo Bill restaurant with very tasty dishes and expensive aperitifs. For example, the first course consisted of nacho chips and the second course consisted of iceberg lettuce. Vegetarians had no chance. At breakfast the staff were very attentive and helpful. The breakfast offered a wide range of fish dishes, which was very exceptional. The room was very nice but it would have been even nicer if at least the empty bottles and used dishes had been put away during breakfast. Even though we were only there one night, we were there until midday due to the late check-out. We hung the Please Clean Up sign on the door. When I spoke to reception about the sauna, I also mentioned cleaning up and instead of taking care of it, the lady interrupted me and dragged out the conversation unnecessarily. After the wellness, the room was still not free of dishes. When we checked out we addressed our criticism and the gentleman apologized to us and offered us a drink at the bar but we had to go. The will was there.

Our entire stay in this hotel was good, but I would particularly like to highlight the Jagdhofstuben restaurant, where we were able to eat both evenings. The menu was good, the wine selection was great, and the food on the menu was really excellent! Our waiter Petro guided us through the evening excellently and even showed us the wine cellar at the end, really a great experience! Thank you very much, we are already looking forward to the next time!

See my review under the restaurant section. Excellent and highly recommended. The detour and small detour to get to the Jagdhof was worth it. If we're in the area again we'd love to come back. …
