We booked this accommodation as a group through booking as we were attending a wedding nearby.Booking via booking caused some problems. In addition, a room was handed over as ready, which had used bed linen and towels. The room was then cleaned and an apology was made. Therefore, the arrival was initially negative. Then there was some discussion about payment because we suddenly had to pay more than what was stated in booking.However, we noticed the service very positively. Our wishes were taken into account, especially at breakfast, and we were even served some vegan alternatives.The rooms were clean. In some places they seemed improvised, such as the missing windows in the apartment's bedrooms or the dismantled radiator, of which only the supply and drainage pipes were left.Overall, the price-performance ratio is good. I recommend not booking directly via booking in the hope that this can prevent misunderstandings.

No recommendation.The keys will not be handed over on site. You had to go to the inn and get the key from the staff there. Needed something quickly.When we arrived in the room the toilet flush and stove were broken. Fridge not clean. We were given a new room, unfortunately the refrigerator wasn't clean either and there were no kitchen utensils available. Floor stuck. It was said that cleaning was done daily, but instead the bed that had been made was made again.Since we were hardly there during the day, it was okay but still very uncomfortable.The owner was very friendly and accepted criticism well. We have not received an invoice to date, even though we have already asked for it twice.

DANGER! Somehow you feel like you've been ripped off here, we booked according to the pictures from the>>LANDHAUS Spickermann<< and were then accommodated in the>Gasthaus Spickermann<0.6 km away from Spickermann. It's not at all inviting from the outside and I've seen pictures of this house and read reviews afterwards. Under these circumstances I would not have booked here. FOR 20 euros maybe but not for 35 € upwards. The owners were nice but that's of no use to us if you were looking forward to a nice ambience...& then you find something like that here. I don't recommend it in this condition.

Our stay was a disaster. I cannot recommend this "hotel". The keys were handed over in a pub not at the address given, the house was run down and the room smelled. What's on offer here is a disgrace. Definitely not recommended even for an overnight stay!

Price performance not given!Per:- good location, you can quickly get to the lake- Breakfast was okTwo stars for thatCons:- no real hospitality = when there were problems with cleanliness, it was trivialized/ cheeky and impudent behavior when the problems were raised, I had "nothing to report" because I'm younger- Apartments on the ground floor were very simple and old-fashioned. It was loveless, you couldn't feel comfortable- Lack of hygiene = in the room of 6 there is mold in the bathroom, the glasses were used, there was dirt from previous guests on the floor and on the couch- In the 6-person room there were no windows in the rooms, the slatted frame in the double bed was broken, the beds were all squeaking- the house as a whole looks very run down = there was no good place to sit in the "garden", there was just a cot in the way in the hallway plus cardboard boxes- the refrigerator didn't work for a few hours in betweenFor the money, there are much better accommodations!

The location is good and the breakfast was okay.Rooms were absolutely not as described, mold in the bathroom, dirty dishes, very old-fashioned. The inn was apparently a converted pub. There were still beer labels on the windows and the bedrooms had no windows.The refrigerator was broken and the slatted frames were broken and every time we moved it squeaked.In the “garden” behind the house there was a variety of dilapidated garden furniture and it didn’t invite you to linger.There is definitely a need for renovation to keep it at this price.It's fine for people with few demands who are just looking for a place to stay overnight, but it's not recommended for longer stays.The breakfast buffet in the country house about 300m away was okay and nicely laid out.After complaining, the staff came to meet us and we were allowed to change rooms.

As far as cleanliness is concerned, that's not possible, dirty walls, cobwebs everywhere, dirty dishes, mold on the ceiling in the bathroom, grill outside totally dirty, actually unusable!On the day of arrival, we found a moldy watermelon in the fridge.What is on the internet (including the pictures) is a total joke, it is not true at all. Not every room has a kitchen! There is no WiFi. The rooms are not nice at all, beds are totally uncomfortable and some are broken.Unprofessional staff (boss can feel addressed) you are lied to and taken for a ride.Stay away from this guesthouse, you can find something a thousand times better for the money!!
