We felt very comfortable with the Henke family! Everything clean and tidy. There is a parking space for every car! A quiet place to recover and relax. We would like to thank you for the great hospitality and the room with a feel-good factor.

We stayed in the guesthouse for 6 nights. We really liked it and the price performance was great. Only recommended. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired. Everyone received a freshly boiled egg every day upon request. The coffee selection on the machine is simply great. The hosts are very friendly. Terrace was small but completely sufficient. There is a beautiful wooden house in the garden to relax in. Unfortunately, guests didn't respect the night's rest and, despite asking for consideration, we didn't get any sleep for a long time.

We spent wonderful days in the Riesenbühl guesthouse and we didn't miss anything.The Henke family is super nice.The breakfast is delicious, everything your heart desires and there was an egg every day. The coffee was the best I've ever had in a guesthouse.I was even surprised with a small present on my birthday, which I thought was wonderful.

We stayed at the Riesenbühl guesthouse for 5 nights in mid-July. We then spent 5 nights in a 4-star hotel in Sindelfingen. The difference was hardly noticeable. We slept much better in Schluchsee. For the pillows, which is important for many people, there was a 40/80 and an 80/80 pillow. We only sleep with 40/80 pillows, in the 4-star hotel we threw the existing 80/80 pillow out of the bed and slept on folded towels under our heads. The breakfast wasn't really distinguishable. On the contrary, in Schluchsee we had a coffee machine that fulfilled all our coffee specialty needs to start the day. In the 4-star hotel we got a thermos of coffee on the table. Sometimes it was very hot, sometimes just lukewarm. In both cases there was fresh fruit, so the guest house also had fresh fruit like in the 4-star hotel. We were assured of attention at all times during breakfast in the guest house. And where can you get a warm, freshly cooked egg for breakfast? At least not in the 4-star hotel, but in the Riesenbühl guest house! Unfortunately, we had far too little time to enjoy the many beauties in the Upper Black Forest; five days are simply not enough. Next time we'll stay longer. Thank you dear Guesthouse Riesenbühl. The five days were wonderful!

Cheap clean accommodation with parking. Everything was ok. Unfortunately there were baked rolls for breakfast. And not all guests are interested. SO of course there were no insider tips.

Everything was great. Breakfast was all there, very friendly owners, hotel on the edge of town but you can walk to the center in a few minutes. We only did something on the fourth day where we needed a car. We would definitely like to come back to Riesenbühl

My wife and I spent a wonderful hiking week here at the end of October '22. The hosts are super nice and accommodating, offering genuine hospitality and service like a large hotel. Really great! At this point a huge thank you to the Henke family: we are already planning our next stay with you :)For breakfast there were two or three different rolls, 3-4 types of ham, 3-4 types of cheese, cold cuts, homemade jams, fruit and natural yoghurt, fruit/fruit salad, a professional self-service coffee machine (coffee, espresso, latte, cappuccino, tea , etc.), orange juice and various types of tea.While we had breakfast, our room was spruced up and the boss of the house asked us every day whether we liked a hard-boiled or soft-boiled egg, which was then prepared "à la minute".Our room (No. 6) was spotlessly clean and looked quite recently renovated. We were lucky to have a large south-facing balcony, which we enjoyed using after the hikes to catch the last rays of sunshine. Furnishings and beds were perfect.The Riesenbühl guest house is a 5-10 minute walk from the Schluchsee shore and a 30 minute walk from the Riesenbühl tower. There is a beautiful park right next to the guest house, at the end of which there is an amusement park for children (Spasspark Hochschwarzwald) - out of audible range ;)The excursion destinations, e.g. B. Feldberg summit, Todtnau waterfalls, Todtmoos waterfalls, St. Blasien, Menzenschwander waterfalls and much more. m. are essentially located in a ring around the Schluchsee and can be reached by car in about 20-30 minutes.In short: if you're in the Black Forest, then it's best to come from here!
