I was at the Hotel Wilhelmshof on a Saturday evening to enjoy the Ayurvedic cuisine. The service was very friendly. Unfortunately I had to wait over an hour for my Mango Chilli Chicken. Very nicely presented home-style dishes were served all around. Big portion. Then finally my Ayurvedic dish arrived. It didn't taste bad, but there was little sense of the lightness and ingenious way of introducing all the flavors. Lots of meat, few vegetables. A pity. Highly recommended for home-style cooking - not so much for Ayurvedic food.

For my short vacation as part of the Fischland Darß Zingst Ultra, I booked myself into the Wilhelmshof for four nights. The room and bathroom are large, the equipment (wardrobe, bed, TV, armchairs and tables, shower) offers everything you need including a comfortable bed, which you especially appreciate after a 100km run! There is a restaurant attached to the hotel where breakfast is also served in the morning.Restaurant: best solyanka and excellent herring with fried potatoes, I thought it was so good that it was available on Friday and Monday 😁Very good coffee (classic like a latte macchiato).Breakfast: you get a basket with rolls, a nice white cheese plate and two kinds of jams, as well as coffee or tea, and if you wish, egg and ojuice. Lots and really good, perfect foundation for your day!The hotel dog Elvis is simply to fall in love with!! The staff and owners of the hotel are all incredibly nice, super accommodating and really warm.

The hotel has seen its best days. It smelled very musty and like cold smoke in the makeshift reception and also in the restaurant.Breakfast was very spartan. To charge the e-bike you had to pay one euro, which was then thrown into a tip jar. Charging is also only possible when the weather is nice, as the sockets and the bicycles were not covered, so if it rained the chargers would have been wet. Money is not asked for anything here. Charging was free in all other hotels on our bike trip.

We were on our way back home from the Baltic Sea when our car had to go to the workshop. And especially during the Christmas holidays...We found the Hotel Wilhelmshof by chance. The coincidence was special because we were warmly and kindly welcomed, encouraged and looked after by everyone at Wilhelmshof. Staying at the hotel made the long wait for car repairs half as bad.Excellent staff, very tasty food, friendliness of the staff and you could always have a friendly and heartfelt conversation! We are grateful that we ended up with you and that you are who you are! Thanks for that!Addendum: A week later I was a guest at the hotel again and was warmly welcomed. To round off the little visit, we of course went to the restaurant in the hotel. The chef is a true magician! Very, very tasty, excellently prepared and one of my favorites in recent years. That was really great - thank you!
