We like it very much. Quiet location, rooms are super clean, the bathroom is new. Breakfast is also very good. Price performance is good. It's a shame that the restaurant is closed because the rooms are really cozy.

After 22 years again at the Waldhotel. The area is incredible, the ring is close, and memories were awakened.

Located directly on the Nürburgring, very quiet location, large on-site parking lot, nice rooms, very clean bathroom and an operator who is very interested in the guests' feel-good factor. Although we are only two breakfast guests, individual requests are catered for. We would love to come back here.

110 € per night in a double room... We were greeted with room furnishings from the 1970s. Slightly musty smell upon arrival. The bathroom was dirty, mold in the joints, hair on the floor that wasn't ours. Dirty carpet etc... it would take too much time to list everything here. The kicker at breakfast on Saturday... butter whose best before date had expired on August 11th, 2023 (we were there from September 15th to September 17th, 2023). When we asked the admittedly very nice service person, she told us that the new delivery wouldn't arrive until Monday. Then there were, at least for me, rolls (poorly baked) without butter and only with toppings. Instead of getting fresh butter on Saturday, which my fellow travelers and I managed to do despite the full program, the same butter was in the buffet at breakfast on Sunday morning. In my opinion, the fire protection also leaves a lot to be desired. There are no smoke detectors in the rooms, the fire extinguisher in the hallway, manufactured in 1985, without any further inspection stickers, didn't really eliminate this impression. The only big plus point is the beautiful, quiet location in nature. Conclusion: My fellow travelers and I will not see this accommodation again. For €110 per night I definitely expect more.

The fact that a room looks old is a story. However, it's another story when no joint in the shower isn't black, the shower head is fixed with a cable tie and a new civilization is forming in the drain. No smoke detectors in the rooms,a fire extinguisher that had not been serviced since 1985 and butter that had expired for 4 weeks on the "buffet" and which was found again the next morning despite notice. Price/performance (€110 per night in a double room which was reduced to €105 after a factual complaint) is absolutely disproportionate here. The only good thing is the fairy who made coffee in the morning. Total failure.

Unfortunately the stay was a disaster. After I had booked very early and just wanted to clarify something about the journey, I was informed that I had been transferred to my sister-in-law. It was a completely normal guest room, ok, but it had nothing to do with “hotel”. When I arrived at the hotel I had to wake up the owner, who then turned around again before agreeing to give me directions to my sister-in-law. He first had to look for the address, the accompaniment there was completely canceled. I always had breakfast at the hotel: baked rolls, always the same cheese, no fresh fruit, no tomatoes/cucumbers etc... I had to pay two days before departure, and the next morning the hotel was closed at breakfast time . The owner didn't respond to the knock, and it wasn't until I called that he blocked it for me.....all in all.....a catastrophe and definitely way too expensive for 95 euros. There is no relationship between price and performance. Never again!!!.....and where the lady in the post ate before is a mystery to me because the restaurant is permanently closed.

We took a short break there. The waffles with vanilla ice cream and fresh strawberries 🍓 were very tasty and I have never eaten something so incomparable. 100 stars

Unfortunately very disappointing, the location of the hotel is a great starting point for hikes, the owner is also nice, but that was it, when we arrived after a long hike we were told that the kitchen was closed and there was nothing in the surrounding area. The rooms are old, the mattress is sagging, I paid €105 for that.
