Nice little campsite. Good sanitary facilities, cleaned regularly.Location very good Staufen, Münstertal, Bad Krotzingen easy to reach by bike.Definitely coming back

Stayed here for a week. Reserved a place in advance which was nice and spacious. There is a lot of difference in rooms. The roads are a bit tight. Sanitary facilities, especially in the first building (fairly new), are great. You have your own bathroom (shower, toilet, sink with rain shower and separate hand shower), there is a fitness room, small indoor swimming pool, an excellent imbis and sandwich service.The biggest advantage is the Konan travel card (free public transport by train and bus).Beautiful surroundings and excellent accessibility.We were not bothered by the busy road past the campsite and train.

Small, well-kept campsite. Excellent plumbing, very friendly staff. The train line directly at the campsite is hardly a problem. Only the road construction work directly in front of the campsite was very loud at times.

A pleasant site with excellent facilities. The staff are very helpful. The restaurant serves standard German food at a reasonable price and the waitress who served us was delightfully charming. It is easy to walk to the tram stop where one can go to Bad Kröningen and onward to Freiburg or Basel by rail.

A most abysmal, dirty and noisy site. The entrances to pitches are tight for medium to longer caravans.Toilets not properly cleaned with broken toilet seats.Very antiquated with need for a full restoration.Pitches are very small even when large pitch booked in advance.A very noisy site with busy adjacent road and railway alongside.Not to be recommended.

The well-kept site is beautifully situated on a small river with a view of the Belchen and an outdoor pool next door (a small indoor pool is part of the site). The sanitary facilities, washrooms, etc. have only been partially renovated. There is also a small shop and a small restaurant with delicious food and drinks and a very friendly host and chef. In other respects, you generally meet friendly employees. The beautiful historic center of Staufen can be reached quickly and easily by bike. The price quoted seems reasonable. After renovating/renewing some of the sanitary and laundry facilities, I would give the place 5 stars. So it becomes 4.5 stars.

Space is large and OK for travelers.Trains and roads can be disturbing if someone is a light sleeper. Sanitary facilities at the front of the entrance were very clean and nice. Price at 40.- per night for 2 people is far too high. Given the prices, there is usually a water connection on the plot. The size of the plots is appropriate. Outdoor swimming pool next door and included in the price. Electricity is billed according to KWh. I think it's really good too.

Great place when the sun shines, got everything for nice cannonball, local shop, bar and restaurant. The town is only 20 minutes walking with lots of local attractions.

A campsite that was surely beautiful in its past, with many services.Currently the gym does not have any type of supervision or maintenance. There is no cleaning inside the gym, with remains of various products from... months ago? The indoor pool is in a sorry state, the pool railings are rusty and torn from the wall. We did not let the children bathe because of the feeling of neglect that this facility had. For us the worst of all is CLEANLINESS.There was no one to clean the toilets or showers daily.The men's toilets do not have a chain, the smell becomes unbearable. There is a block of three toilets that has been recently renovated but it runs out of water every night, every night. The first time we stayed in the middle of the shower with soapy hair... we had to leave the block and go to the old ones to finish taking the shower.The toy cars were rusty and broken, posing a clear danger to children.We knew that it was a campsite with old facilities, we were not looking for any 5-star campsite, but I think that cleanliness is a very important issue, it is something basic that should be guaranteed regardless of the category of the campsite.

Nice little campsite, despite the summer heat, pleasant temperatures in the evenings/nights thanks to the location on the river. Only the sanitary facilities are older, but very clean.

There is one star for the nice employee when checking out. The other for the location and general situation of the campsite.The sanitary facilities are in a terrible condition! The restaurant doesn't look inviting at all, as everything looks very dingy from outside (beer bench, tables, etc.). Unfortunately, the shop also looks unclean from the outside. The notice board with the opening times is smeared and the entire shop window is covered in fingerprints and much more.I don't want to mention what was found in the toilets here.The sanitary facilities were not cleaned that evening or the next morning. We found this stay, even if only for one night, very unpleasant. Finally, it should be mentioned that 41.50 euros were charged for the night.It's a shame to let such a beautiful place run down like this.

We came as a family with 2 children (9 and 11).The positive first:- beautiful location- lots of shade from good trees- Bread ordering service- Free entry to the well-maintained outdoor swimming pool, which is within walking distance- There is a stream next to the campsite where the children can play- within walking distance of Staufen - beautiful and definitely worth a visit.- You can reach several shops in 6 minutes by car (dm, Aldi, norma, Edeka, etc.)Let's get to the negative:The campsite is not only outdated, but for the most part very neglected. There are three sanitary buildings. One of them has been renovated and is reasonably clean. The other two are run down and dirty.In addition, the water in the sanitary buildings was occasionally out. Both in the morning and in the evening, it was sometimes impossible to flush the toilet or use the tap. There is no information about this.At times it seems very loveless. There are cobwebs and dirt everywhere.There is a children's house - a shed that could also be the setting for a horror film:Broken toys, trash and dirt (from years...?) everywhere. There are several vehicles available to the children free of charge, but the majority of them are junk and not drivable.The website states that an extensive animation program will be offered from July to August. When I asked, the receptionist didn't know anything about it.

Great place to explore the black forest from. Easy access to the local town staufen and ridable to Freiburg. Pitches, showers all clean and easy to use. Lovely atmosphere.
