My grandparents told me about this beautiful restaurant. Was here twice and each time the food was delicious. The service was also very friendly every time. Highly recommended.

When we spend our vacation in the “Ländle”, eating at “Hirschen” is 100% part of it. Very pleasant, relaxed atmosphere, and the food is a dream. Again and again....

We wanted to have lunch in the Hirschen today, August 22nd, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. According to the website, open from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. A car from Baden Baden was parked in front of the inn and the occupants drove away shaking their heads. We also found out that the inn is closed. No notice on the door! Nobody should come here anymore!

The Hirschen in Britzingen is a little insider tip.The food is super good and the service really spoiled us.We felt completely comfortable and were very satisfied.The Hirschen also serves the legendary Gutedel soup, which the chef prepares with a lot of love. The saddle of veal steak with fresh porcini mushrooms and homemade pasta is also highly recommended.Gladly again at any time.We are already looking forward to our next visit to the Hirschen

We stayed overnight in the neighboring hotel. We decided to have dinner at the Hirschen. The restaurant was two-thirds empty. Unfortunately the waitress couldn't find a place for us (two people). Apparently we had to make a reservation. She didn't even ask how long we needed to decide whether it might have been possible to give us two places. Even at a table where two people were already sitting, but which could have accommodated four people, we were not given the opportunity to ask if we could join them. As we were leaving, the waitress thanked me and I asked what for?All in all: no imagination and no initiative! And then the German gastronomy writes that it is doing so badly!

We were just in the restaurant. The food is tasty. A little more vegetables would be desirable.Prices have also shot up, you can understand that. But what I don't understand is that they only take cash. That's quite an imposition, since the ATM in the village was also dismantled.

Excellent regional cuisine and a very cozy atmosphere with great service awaited us last night. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back. 5 stars are still not enough. If we are in Markgräflerland, then this inn is the only option for us. Everything really worked out.

It's been a long time since we've been to Hirschen. The food was excellent and the service was very attentive. The ambience slows down and reminds me personally of my youth, when this kind of high-class, down-to-earth gastronomy was more common. We were guests for two and a half hours, we really enjoyed it and of course tasted it too!

The four of us had dinner at the restaurant on Friday lunchtime. That means we wanted to eat.We were almost the first ones in the restaurant. But they were pretty much the last ones to be served. Why this location is rated so well is a mystery to us.Only the cook knows what rice mash has to do with risotto.With a little sugar and cinnamon it would have been perfect rice pudding. The only person at the table who was happy was the one who had ordered the leg of venison. Fish was okay too. Beef roulade was simply too tough!!!All in all not recommended.

Wonderful, imaginative, upscale Markgräfler cuisine. Here the boss knows his “craft”. Very pleasant atmosphere with very friendly service. Here, eating is an experience that guarantees great satisfaction and makes the soul happy! I would like to invent a 6th star for it :-)
