We had dinner here with 20 people after reservation. The menu was varied and the atmosphere was stylish. The drinks and food came quickly and were of high quality. The staff was very objective, but always friendly and tried to look after us. I had a cream of mushroom soup, fish with risotto and creme brulee and was pleasantly surprised by the taste. The journey was a bit long, but worth it. I can't make any statements about the hotel operation.

You should be good on foot because it's steep uphill. But then this view of the surrounding landscape, simply wonderful. And then the castle, not as big as Bieberstein but still. And the soeller behind the castle, you just have to have been up there.

We've been to the Mainluft for the 4th time today.The internet tells you that it should be open.But the fact is that there was another sign in front of the gate.CLOSED TODAY, SORRY.THANK YOU

We celebrated our wedding at Maienluft Castle last weekend. From the advice to the implementation, the service, the friendliness, the food and the entire location, there is nothing to complain about. Were mostly there for the carnival and were mostly occupied with cups and sleeping, so it's impossible for me to provide details. In any case, it was always really exciting, despite the police, TraPo and the cold.

Reviews for restaurant:A very nice restaurant with great surroundings. Staff was friendly and the food tasted very good. The selection of dishes is manageable and there is something for everyone. The selection of spirits was even a little overwhelming.But there are still a few negative points. The access route was a bit steep and therefore not that easy to reach, and the path was also very narrow. Another little thing that bothered me was the chronic understaffing on public holidays, even if the staff provided top service.All in all, definitely worth a visit.

After a bike ride you look forward to an ALCOHOL-FREE Banana Wheat. Unfortunately my wishes were not respected. Then I noticed it when I drank it...I find it impossible, especially since the waitress knew we were traveling by bike. Otherwise it was good, the food at the next table looked delicious. Maybe the slight chaos was due to the many visitors on May 1st. I can't rate the hotel as it was only a short trip.

I can only recommend Maienluft Castle. I celebrated my birthday there and was thoroughly pampered with my guests. Friendly, very committed service and the food was great as always.

If you are near Wasungen on the weekend, you should definitely stop by here. Unfortunately, due to a lack of staff, it is currently only open from Friday. The food tastes excellent, is lovingly prepared and the steaks are cooked to perfection. The landlady is very warm and takes the time for a short conversation even in the most stressful times. We keep our fingers crossed that you will soon find operating staff and be able to open again from Wednesday.
