We were on a short vacation here with two people and we were completely satisfied with everything. The guesthouse is a few minutes' walk from the swimming pool. We really liked the room with a terrace and a view of the green meadow. The bathroom was fine. Everything was neat and clean. We were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast, there was plenty of everything. Good value for money. Any time.

Super friendly welcome, very nice landlady. Good breakfast and large clean rooms. Good transport connections and still a very quiet settlement. In other words, a relaxing getaway. Gladly again at any time.

My post has recently stopped being posted because its content does not comply with the guidelines. But I didn't actually write anything negative, just to be honest...like a lot of people here...and it was like this:...I didn't expect anything else for the money. It's a bit stupid that breakfast is only served until 9:30 a.m. on vacation, but you can also have breakfast in your room/balcony or lie down again afterwards. I didn't think the loveless balcony design was that great either, there's something else that could be done.The room was clean and tidy, the silicone seams in the bathroom were perfect, the shower worked and yes: the guesthouse landlord was appropriately "unfriendly", which is de rigueur in the area.

Not far from the seal station and what else is there is this guesthouse that is sometimes not in keeping with the spirit of the times. The breakfast is okay and if you want it you can also get East Frisian tea in the appropriate porcelain in the morning. The rooms are furnished normally, the house sometimes seems to be noisy. WLAN is possible, but it usually doesn't work. The best place to have internet is on your doorstep near the parking lot. The service is very nice.

We were there for a week. I thought the breakfast was okay, I would have liked wholemeal rolls, the rooms were very outdated and the mattress was worn out.Like a shower curtain in the shower used to be.Lots of cobwebs left and right on the cupboard.Ancient tablecloths and chair cushions.Water and heating great.Bike shed is super lockable.Not even fresh towels and floor mopped in 6 days 🙈The Feeken family are real Nordic originals.😉

This is my second time here...and I can't understand the complaints. Apparently there is a room that is causing the complaints. Mine were clean and the bathrooms were renovated and in good, clean condition. I can't understand what there is to complain about at this price for the breakfast. Everything from eggs to orange juice.Of course, the guesthouse is not a new hotel, but it is so authentically Frisian that you can only recommend it to everyone... but since Norddeich has been flooded with 399 all-in tourists because Corona and flight chaos are driving them here, the negative ones seem to have diminished Reviews piling up 🙈

If you like the 80s and have sagging mattresses in the beds, you can stay overnight there. I'd rather not write anything about the bathroom 😣.Conclusion: Price performance does not match.

Strongly not recommended, the last time it was renovated was 20 years ago, beds are extremely sagging, breakfast is bad, rolls are burnt until they are rock hard... I could go on forever... I'm just saying toilets
