I spent a few wonderful winter days here, idyllic landscape in the presence of mountains and snow. 2022 ... currently I don't know what else is there.

The smell of the closet warns of the kitchen. After 5 minutes in this empty restaurant, we quickly left after a stale beer. Plenty of gherkins lay open in the children's corner. An incredible experience. Be careful.

We were at this inn before the change of ownership. Back then everyone was absolutely thrilled with the beautiful rooms and great food. That's why we simply booked blindly again for another stay.A MISTAKE!As soon as we arrived at the parking lot, we were worried about the lack of cars and lighting. When you come in you are greeted by a strange smell and a very questionable atmosphere.Unfortunately, we made the mistake and didn't immediately escape. We bravely ordered food. Schnitzel, cheese spaetzle and, for a vegetarian, grilled vegetables. While we waited, we read the reviews here. We didn't know whether to laugh or cry. 😅The food wasn't really good. The schnitzels were ok. The hunter's sauce was actually just grated mushrooms and the fries were a bit rancid due to old fat. The grilled vegetables actually only consisted of onions with peppers and a bit of zucchini. The cheese spaetzle were a bit watery with indefinable cheese and a lot of rosemary on top. After dinner we fled because no one wanted to sleep there anymore. In addition, the rooms were offered to us for €40 more than what was on the website. Everything is very dubious.Luckily we were given a very friendly welcome at the new hotel a little further down the street. We were also told that they often host people here.

I had a flash of laughter when I read the reviews here while I was crying and looking at my food and wondering if they were serious. The grilled vegetables were like cafeteria food. Because I asked beforehand what was available as a side dish, he was so "generous" and packed me some fries (my family had fries as a side dish with the schnitzel or whatever it was). Fries taste very rancid if you don't replace the fat in the deep fryer for too long. Unfortunately that was the case here. And then €14.90. The cafeteria food at my university for €2.50 per portion offers less “canteen flair”. The place was completely dark and uncomfortable. There was no other person there. We actually wanted to sleep there, but fled to another hotel. The problem with the cross was also known in the new accommodation. They called themselves “Pension Kreuz Asylum” because we weren’t the only ones who escaped from the Kreuz. Get the next flash of laughter straight away because you can only take something like this with humor.

What happened to this great restaurant?A crash like that is really sad.The food was really bad.The fries were made in grease, which you could smell as soon as you walked in...we should have left then. The fat was clearly just old and rancid. The Jägerschnitzel had an indefinable sauce... fat from the pan from the roast with ketchup??? ...we didn't try them.We actually wanted to stay overnight here.According to the internet 100 euros with breakfast. We had booked by phone a week in advance. When we called again about the check-in time, we were told we could get the room at a special price of EUR 120 instead of EUR 140...In the restaurant we found out that breakfast wasn't planned...The barrel was really full and we left immediately.Thats really sad.It was a great place with great food. Now it's a sad place to avoid.

09/25/2021 I am writing this review because since the change of owner and staff this restaurant has completely disappointed us, the menu has changed as well as the prices which are higher than the average of restaurants in the surrounding area the service was completely lousy, the waitress first took orders for hot dishes before the aperitifs which were delivered at the same time as the dishes. We miss the atmosphere and the quality of the dishes as well as the staff from before. Running a restaurant is a job and we are far from it, as for us we will never set foot there again.

We were here for coffee. The service was friendly and the cake and coffee were delicious. When it snows you also have a great view :-)

Unfortunately very disappointing.Unfortunately we didn't like the food at all. It was unsalted, the meat was dry and the fries and schnitzel weren't good either. Part of our order didn't come at all and it was a complete chaos. The restaurant was generally very empty and we sat in the dark for a long time. This might still be understandable if there had been a lot going on, which wasn't the case.My advice to everyone is don't eat here.

Not recommended.Have always been loyal customers for years, but have been more than disappointed since the new owners took over. Price performance ratio is not right!Having to wait forever for cakes to take away even though there are 5 men behind the counter. Overpriced and no longer the quality!Goodbye again!!
