We came in by chance after a walk for a little lunch. Very nice atmosphere, lovingly furnished hotel and restaurant, great outdoor areas. It was extremely tasty and the prices were reasonable for the quality. Attentive and nice service. All around highly recommended.

On Saturday, September 14th I was looking forward to the BBQ buffet because I still remembered the very good Easter buffet.Unfortunately, I was disappointed with both the buffet and the service.Unfortunately, the quality of the meat at the buffet was not good and everything around it was disappointing. The salmon and some salads made up for it.The biggest disappointment, however, was the service. When I was getting my drink after waiting 20 minutes (and only because I made myself noticeable), I (impaired with a walker) asked for cutlery to be brought to me because I already had a full plate in front of me. Answer from the very young waitress: It's available at the buffet! I would have taken it with me if it had been available! Another guest! then brought it to me.Clearing it didn't work either! Several employees walked past my table, where there were already 3 used plates.The MA who brought me my drink didn't show up again afterwards.All in all, an evening I was looking forward to for a number of reasons was a bitter disappointment and I don't think I'll bother going there again.

Nice and cozy hotel in the historic town of Alt Kaster. We had booked a "boutique" room but initially got a kind of do-it-yourself craft room. After some discussion we did get a nice room.

We celebrated our wedding at Danielshof on August 24th. Everything went smoothly, both at the outdoor wedding ceremony in the park and at the champagne reception and the subsequent celebration. The team did their utmost and fulfilled all of our wishes.The buffet was also great, our guests were thrilled. We can only recommend the Danielshof. Once again a big thank you to the entire team 🥰

We were immediately warmly welcomed by the warm staff who immediately served us well. The breakfast is the same every day, but there is a lot of choice, then on to the evening meal, it's all so delicious, it's a surprise every time what you get. The desserts are great, compliment to the chef. Definitely value for money.

We got married on May 25th, 2024 and had our free wedding ceremony and the subsequent celebration in the country house.This review could be very long with everything we weren't happy with.We sent our displeasure to the country house in a long text. However, we do not want to hide our dissatisfaction for future couples or people planning an event.Because of our displeasure, the country house insisted on a personal conversation to address the issues. We actually have to give the country house credit for this. The organizer apologized on behalf of the country house, held her head and agreed with us on a few points.All we can say is that even if this conversation took place, no one can give this day back to us. For them it was just a job with the focus on their own event the following day, while for us there were a lot of emotions that no one can give us back.Not at all service-oriented and not an ounce of sensitivity for the local people. I never felt welcome as a bride, nor did my husband. Guests have also reported this to us. Even the planning was always difficult with the organizer - especially the communication was not always easy and as a result misunderstandings arose again and again. Wedding planners apparently don't like the country house either, or at least they don't understand what a wedding planner is.Dear country house, keep your words and I hope you learned something from our wedding for the future. It's just a shame that we had to suffer because of it, just so you know how NOT to do it.In particular, learn the term wedding planner and be more professional, because it is not you who decides and pays the service providers, but the bride and groom and whether you like someone or not is your personal concern and must not be at the expense of the couple.Positive: The food was tasty and the organizer reacted quickly and quickly and helped my father make a pin because the florist didn't provide it. Thanks for that.Now we can finally try to finish this and concentrate on the positive and beautiful moments of the wedding.

Rooms tidy. Breakfast good.We had booked half board for 4 people, dinner in the evening was buffet style. There was not enough meat for everyone here. When asked, one piece was reproduced. There were four of us. There were also no enough desserts. When asked, 2 were brought, but there was nothing more. We were then offered ice cream, but on closer inspection it turned out to be out of stock. In the end we were offered a cup of coffee as a compensation. their excuse was that people had arrived unexpectedly and also wanted to use the buffet. So here come unexpected guests for the booked people.Shame....There are also no cycling routes in the hotel.

I spent a weekend here with a friend. We are thrilled with the great and friendly service. Rooms are modern and clean. Since our room was "under the roof", it was very warm, despite the fan. Breakfast buffet was great!We had an arrangement with a grill buffet - lots of choice, super tasty :)From the hotel you can quickly reach hiking and cycling routes. Overall, highly recommended.

We celebrated our wedding at Danielshof. From the planning to the quiet check-out the day after, everything was very professional and pleasant. Location, service, food and stay were perfect. We experienced very personal support. All of our wishes were implemented very well. Our guests and we enjoyed the day and the stay. The buffet was very tasty and very attractively presented. I had a fantastic stay at the Danielshof and can't understand some of the reviews here. I often travel for work and have rarely experienced such good and attentive staff. The room was rustic but very comfortable and I would have liked to take the bed with me, I slept so well. The food is high quality and lovingly prepared, so you're happy to pay a few euros more. Although coffee in the outdoor pool now costs more. What I found most beautiful was the location and the terrace. You can work really well and just relax and unwind. The accommodation deserves a lot more stars and is a bit underrated. Personally, I'm just grateful for the great time and would love to come back!
