Unfortunately the elevator was not working. In exchange we were allowed to park for free.The air conditioning in the room also does not work. In return we received no compensation. The air conditioning was set to heating and this was normal given the outside temperature according to the employee. Shame.UPDATE: Nice that you say that it does not meet your quality requirements... and that it is your responsibility to guarantee all this... Then do something about it!These are just empty words.....

Late arrival, but even then , a very friendly welcome and a complementary drink. The room is typical holiday inn express, but quite new here. Breakfast is also typical, but well prepared and nicely presented. Again friendly people at checkout. Parking is not cheap however

Good hotel, great breakfast and great team!After visiting Phantasialand, we stayed for one night in the three-star Hotel Holiday Inn Express Cologne Troisdorf. The hotel is located in an industrial area on the A 59, approx. 40 km from the park. The check in was very friendly with all the information you needed, at the check out we asked if everything was ok and wished us a good trip, exemplary and thank you! The team was always very friendly and helpful. The room we had number 312 TV, table with chair and air conditioning, double bed and sofa bed, bathroom with shower and toilet was ok. The cleanliness was also ok. We had booked an overnight stay with breakfast. Breakfast as a buffet: coffee, tea, juice, sausage, cheese, jam, Nutella, honey, eggs, fruit, several types of bread and rolls including whole grains and diabetics, as well as several types of muesli. A small buffet, it was always topped up, a top performance and very tasty! Parking is free. Otherwise: Free WiFi, The Burger King about 500m away. Conclusion: The price-performance ratio is very good. Therefore a clear recommendation from us!

Perfect for what we booked for the amount. Everything in the room was neat and clean and everything you needed was there. Breakfast was OK. Everything you need is there. We booked the hotel to spend 2 days in Cologne. From here we drove into Cologne to go to the concert and see Cologne.

Please don't forget parking fees!On the way to the Netherlands.We stopped here at the Holiday Inn Express.The hotel is close to the highway/airport.There is a gas station and a McDonald’s right next to the hotel. So you can still eat something even late at night.The Holiday Inn Express is very modern and clean.Which I find particularly praiseworthy. Is the rich breakfast buffet. And the late check-out until 12 p.m.The reception is staffed 24 hours a day.An additional great service is umbrella rental.As mentioned at the very beginning:Unfortunately, the parking fees are excessively high from my side at €15/day.Of course you can say that almost every hotel chain charges extra fees for parking.But I think most guests don't think about this when booking, even if it's somewhere unnoticed in the description. And honestly, €10 per day would be okay too!After all, the hotel is not in the city.Everyone has to decide for themselves whether the overnight price with the parking fees is still interesting in the end!An important note at the end:The advantage of the gas station can be a disadvantage for some guests. Especially when the car wash is in operation in the morning, it can be a problem for those sensitive to noise.In this case it is essential to book a room on the other side.

We were generally satisfied with our stay. The beds including pillows were very comfortable for us personally and the room was very well maintained/clean. However, I would only give the bathroom 3 stars because unfortunately both the toothbrush cups and the sink had not been cleaned properly when we checked in. The breakfast was simple but good. The staff is always very friendly.

We booked 3 rooms for 5 days, The ac is not working properly it is sett on 30 degrees only in order to function.We requested to fix it, and the receptionist said that he would do the needful by tomorrow.Anyway we came from a long flight and I couldn't sleep well.By the way, there are no fridge in the rooms
