We were there for the first time and we are really excited about how beautiful it is there. Everything was very nice and cozy and the food was very tasty and the breakfast was also great. We were warmly welcomed by the Siepe family and the very lovely family dog Ben We took it straight to our hearts. The review only refers to the restaurant as we stayed somewhere else.Unfortunately, the restaurant only served fried foods (schnitzel, croquettes, etc.) in different variations. Unfortunately, given the prices quoted, it's a no-go in my opinion. There doesn't seem to be a drinks menu, and service is unfortunately rather poor.Definitely not a recommendation, it's better to leave your money somewhere else and if in doubt, take another journey...

The inn is great. The food is... let me put it this way... everything that can be fried is fried. But!, deep-frying has to be learned!So it wasn't even a sufficient minus. But a smooth 5.Too bad... too bad... the next few days somewhere else...

The ideal place to relax. A very clean and tidy guest house. Nice beds. Friendly owners. Nice coffee. Good breakfast and dinner. Beautiful view. The guesthouse is located in a hamlet in a beautiful valley where there is nothing else, but that was a problem for us. Wonderful walks. We will definitely come back!

Excellent rooms, not very modern, but neat and clean. Good beds, but especially excellent German cuisine. Everything fresh and plentiful volumes. The hotel is located next to a stream where the children played a lot.

We stopped here for a short stopover on a longer hike. Since the kitchen was still closed, we were kindly given two apple strudels with a scoop of vanilla ice cream each and two really good coffees (total price €19). The inn is very nicely located and the service was to our satisfaction.

Just a nice cozy guest house, we had HP so we ate what we could get and must say good food 😀 nice area for walking and favorable prices. Not much in the area, but that was no problem for us. Thank you Siepe family 💪

A really nice inn that is very modern and yet rustic. The food is really fantastic, all the other restaurants in the area really can't keep up! You can hear the stream rushing outside and otherwise it's really quiet, perfect for a relaxing holiday in the Sauerland!

We've been to this guesthouse for the second time. You will be welcomed very friendly and warmly.The ambience is inviting and decorated with a lot of love.The environment is very quiet and relaxing, but attractions can still be reached quickly.The food is excellent and I love the traditional cooking.The portions are more than sufficient and varied.You feel very comfortable here and we would love to come back 👍👍👍

My wife and I enjoyed a long weekend at the Gasthof Zur Hohen Hunau.We had a nicely furnished, clean room.The breakfast buffet was rich and the hot dinner every day was a culinary delight.We look forward to the next time, thank you to the Siepe family.
