Ferienhof Heite - Rita Heite

We had a great stay with Ms. Heite. I have rarely been in such a well-equipped and child-friendly holiday apartment. You can tell that Ms. Heite is a hostess with all her heart. The surroundings are also great, with the Sauerland Card there were also great things for the two rainy days.

We spent very nice, varied days at the Heite farm. The apartment is super clean and comfortably furnished, we didn't miss anything. We particularly liked the absolute child-friendliness.Starting in the stairwell with stair gates, up to fall protection, diaper pail, darkenable windows, cot, stool in the bathroom, baby bath, high chair and toys/books. There is a lot for children to discover on the farm; there is a play barn where you can pass the time in bad weather. Pool table, table tennis table, various pedal vehicles, balance bikes. All animals are fed together every day (ponies, donkeys, chickens, goats, rabbits), then there are 2 cats and a dog. Pony rides were also offered daily, and once in the evening there was bread on sticks.The “Kinderwelt Schmallenberg” initiative also has a lot to offer, swimming pool in Bad Fredeburg nearby, ski areas easy to reach, hikes. It won't be boring, no matter what the weather is.Daily bread roll service in the morning on request, good parking in front of the yard.We are happy to recommend the holiday farm!

We visited the farm for the first time at the turn of the year and can only recommend it to everyone. Our 21-month-old daughter had a lot of fun with the free pony rides every day and then feeding the animals. Ms. Heite is a very nice host and always approachable.One evening a week there was stick bread over the fire bowl and every day an egg was given away to a family while feeding the chickens.Compared to other farms, a vacation at Ms. Heite's is still affordable, even in these tense times.

Relaxing farm holidays in a stylish ambienceWe have been spending our holidays in Sauerland for years because farm holidays with three children are a cost-effective way to spend a relaxing holiday with children. During this time we of course got to know a few holiday farms. We felt most at home with Ms. Heite in the beehive!From the children's perspective:Our girls arrived at the farm and immediately swarmed out on their own to discover everything: On site there is a small playground with a trampoline, an indoor play barn and all sorts of animals. Goats, rabbits, chickens, quails, donkeys and of course the ponies offer great variety. The children are allowed to feed the animals, catch one or two escaped chickens and receive fresh eggs directly in their hands.The highlight was of course the daily pony ride, where the girls were able to do several laps on their favorites.They were also very happy about the fresh waffles and the grilled bread. In principle it is possible to take part in the Schmallenberger holiday program on other farms, but we were too late for that. The places were quickly filled.Instead, we simply went on trips to the Sauerland. There are beautiful playgrounds and spa parks everywhere where children can play in a relaxed manner. The swimming pool in Bad Fredeburg also offers a super cheap offer of 4 hours of swimming for a total of 7 euros with the Schmallenberger Ticket!The indoor playground in Schmallenberg (with outdoor area) offers a similarly good offering and is well maintained, making it an ideal excursion destination during the week.Overall, there are many more exciting excursion destinations in the Sauerland that we have visited over the years. It won't be boring here.From an adult perspective:I attach great importance to cleanliness. We have already encountered mold in the shower, dirty mattresses and musty towels on vacation. For me there are clear no-gos that lead to a bad holiday feeling. Things were different in the beehive. We were welcomed by a very clean, spacious apartment. The bathroom is in great shape and the kitchen has no reason to complain either. I found the apartment to be very clean and felt comfortable.I also found the furniture to be very stylish and not quite as rustic and worn as in other holiday apartments. They are simple but modern and fit the overall ambience. The beds were very comfortable - my husband usually gets back pain when we spend a long time away from home, but that wasn't the case here. The bed linen is nice and cozy, I wish I didn't get up in the morning.We used the bread roll service and always had fresh bread rolls for breakfast in the morning. Nevertheless, the costs were kept within limits and it was one of the cheaper farm holidays in recent years.From the dog's perspective:Dogs are welcome here, which is why we chose the farm. We had our Chihuahua with us, who clearly enjoyed the other dogs on site. Everyone was totally relaxed and he was also cuddled by other guests. The animals on the farm are used to dogs and remained unimpressed.Overall, we all - 2 adults with 3 children (almost 3, 5 and 9) and dog - had a very relaxed holiday with a very good price-performance ratio. We'd love to come by again 😊

A wonderful panorama and many lovely corners to feel good. A lot of regular guests come because Rita Heite gives the whole thing a personal touch.The rooms are very well equipped and extremely clean.

From arrival to departure it was a great holiday.Ms. Heite takes care of everything incredibly well. Ride in the tractor, ride the pony, feed and pet the animals. There is a lot to do on the farm for the little ones. Lots of toys are available. Stick bread was made and it was delicious. The apartment was sparkling clean and very nicely furnished. Everything is very high quality. The kitchen is well equipped. Thank you very much for the great vacation, Ms. Heite.
