We will be back!The service in the hotel deserves at least 10 stars instead of 5. Allergies and intolerances are taken into account and we were able to fully enjoy the delicious food. Many thanks to the chef and the entire team, who always acted in a very friendly and forward-looking manner.A very special thank you goes to the manager of the house for the spontaneous rescue shuttle service :)

The service when it comes to food is positive and friendly and attentive.Anyone who, like us, is impressed by a thoroughly professional website will be bitterly disappointed.It was not possible to book wellness treatments in advance because all appointments were apparently taken. However, upon arrival it became clear that there were no therapists of any kind.You can find a swimming pool and sauna in every better hotel, but you expect something completely different from a spa and wellness hotel. Price/performance are worlds apart.Our criticism and our disappointment were accepted without comment, no explanation or financial concession.Definitely not again!

Over the past few years I have often (pleasedly) been a guest at the hotel in Krummbachtal. Unfortunately, I notice that the quality of the stay has decreased. This year we were unable to book any treatments (massages) for our wellness holiday. When I booked, I was told that there were no appointments available, but my telephone request to ask whether an appointment had become available at short notice shortly before arrival was harshly denied. When we left, we found out that there were currently no staff available for the applications. This is information that I would like to know in advance when booking a wellness vacation.Cherished attention was canceled. This year there was no welcome drink (it is stated in the booking), no bottle of water in the room, and niceties like the morning postille are no longer available.Rather, we often had the feeling that we were being disturbed (e.g. when we wanted to have breakfast on the terrace).The food is still good and of high quality, but here too I have the impression that it has been reduced over the years. So the salad at the snack is very limited and was not refilled.Our criticism on site (I think it's important to let the host know if you're not satisfied) was coolly acknowledged. At a price of over €1000 for three nights, I would like to see more attention to the guest here.The location of the hotel is very idyllic and quiet, we were happy to come and enjoyed the time out. For the future we will be looking for another hotel due to the price-performance ratio, which is no longer right for us.Too bad!

We had a very nice weekend, the food was very tasty, the staff was extremely friendly.The outdoor area is very spacious and idyllic.The wellness area is not but fine.We felt very comfortable and would love to come back!

Instead of the announced welcome drink, we were greeted with gray rags and an information leaflet.The breakfast buffet is from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. We arrived at eleven o'clock, the selection was already very clear and seemed counted out.Questions are answered in a friendly, Franconian manner by the owners.This Sunday the hotel closed at 12 p.m. for company holidays. Longer use of the wellness area was not possible; this service was voluntary and free of charge anyway, so it was canceled.For me it wasn't clear what could justify these prices.What is advertised is not lived here.

I would like to thank you again very much for the wonderful weekend. We were here for the first time on this exact weekend 6 years ago. We still feel at least as comfortable as we did back then, and we weren't just here these two times. All the staff are friendly and accommodating, the treatments are great, the food is great, simply an all-round package for wonderful relaxation.

We felt very comfortable during our wellness weekend. The food from breakfast, gourmet afternoon to dinner was very tasty and always sufficient and fresh. The massages and the subsequent stay in the sauna were very relaxing. Many thanks to all employees. We'd love to come back.

Beware of rip-offs!!!! Expired vouchers expire, no goodwill!Especially after Corona, it's a great impudence to enrich yourself with something like that, to exploit people!Unfriendly and cheeky owner, never seen before!Unfortunately, greed got to your head.It's a shame because the food and the wellness area are recommended.There are such beautiful hotels in the Rhön. Please don't support this!

Small, cozy hotel to feel good. Here you can be human and don't have to change your clothes 😉. We were there over Christmas and it was very nice and relaxing. The late riser breakfast is particularly great and the evening menu leaves nothing to be desired. Were here five years ago and will definitely come again.

A very nice small family-run hotel with a great wellness area and “divine massages”. Very good food (breakfast buffet until 12 p.m., cake buffet from around 2:30 p.m. and dinner from around 7 p.m.). The buffet is very varied (morning and afternoon). In addition to cake, there is always a warm snack and of course the salad bar). In the evening there is a 3-course menu. So if you can't find anything to eat there... the hotel is at the end of the road on the edge of the forest and you can easily go on cycling and hiking tours. Just the right place to switch off and relax. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Unfortunately not very accommodating! We couldn't redeem our vouchers first because of Corona and then because of a long-term illness. Older vouchers are no longer accepted and there is no accommodation. We won't be coming back or giving away vouchers for this house, it's a shame!

We were only in the hotel for one night and had booked a comfortable room. Unfortunately, we couldn't see or feel why this room deserves its name/category. At the reception we were given 2 large, gray, thin towels (rags) and my husband and I were both of the opinion that these were towels for the dog, but then we read on a piece of paper in the room, That these are towels that you should put on the loungers in the wellness area and that you should immediately take these towels away when you get up from the lounger - we have never experienced anything like that before😂 Our room was outdated, apart from the possibly new tiled floor there was an ornate wooden chair (with a Bavarian touch) and a slightly more modern armchair next to it. The bed squeaked when turned over, the bathroom is totally outdated, the edge of the shower cubicle was very dirty. The rooms are poorly insulated, you can hear all the noises from the neighboring rooms, toilet corridors, shower, every step of the neighbor. There was also no bottle of water in the room, which should be included in the price. What also determined us was that when we arrived, all of the free rooms in the hallway were open, meaning that curious guests could walk into the freshly cleaned rooms, or the house cat wouldn't be allowed at all. Dinner is only available from 7 p.m., after the starter at the buffet we were asked if we would like the main course, which was served 5 seconds later. When we were serving it, the lady of the house asked us whether we didn't like it because our plates were still half full. My husband explained to her in a friendly manner why he didn't like it (he's an expert), and that's what we got the answer..."that has never happened before" and that was it. I didn't like my food either, the gravy had sauce powder added to it, the Franconian dumpling was a finished product, I didn't mention it, the comment on mineMan was enough for me. Unfortunately, breakfast isn't available until 9 a.m., so we skipped it because we wanted to leave early. We weren't asked whether we would like to take a coffee with us, or a croissant, etc. There was no further comment on the unusual breakfast, or perhaps it was kindly credited? None. The checkout was very unfriendly, no “Thank you for your visit, or safe journey home, etc” not even a “goodbye”. The lady of the house was obviously very taken aback by our friendly statement and explanation as to why we didn't like the food. Very unprofessional.. Not a hotel for us to feel comfortable with or to recommend!

It has been years since I was a guest at this hotel and the reason for this is that two confirmed bookings were canceled because the manager of the hotel preferred to accommodate a wedding party in the 2 booked rooms (own information on the phone). Instead of offering us a reasonable alternative to the incorrect booking caused by the hotel (wedding had booked later), he simply presented us with a fait accompli and cheekily and without regret referred us to legal action. We would definitely have won that one too, but who wants to spend any time in a hotel like that? We were never there again and from our experience we can't recommend this hotel if someone wants to be sure about their planning. The rooms weren't really comfortable back then either. The food was good, but on the third day everything was repeated. The music evenings in the lobby were nice. The wellness area was ok. The outside area could have been designed a little more attractively. The hotel definitely had potential.

We had already been to the Day Spa at the Hotel Krummbachtal in the past. For Christmas 2019 we received two vouchers as a gift. Because of Corona, it was not possible to redeem them for more or less two years. Unfortunately, we forgot about them. When we asked in September 2023, it was no longer possible to redeem the vouchers, even though the three-year term did not actually take place. We then offered to redeem the vouchers in the same month. But even if we asked again, there was no goodwill from the hotel! We will never go there again!!
