We went to the adventure camp with a larger group last weekend and I have to say, the cabins were adventurous. In a hut, children's clothes were found that smelled strongly of urine. Overall, all of the huts smelled strongly of damp, so we had to thoroughly clean everything afterwards. The refrigerator in the cabin we lived in was apparently broken, the compressor ran all night and could be heard in the bedroom. In addition, the cooling was inadequate. Dishes and cutlery were dirty upon arrival and had to be cleaned before use. The bathroom was also dirty and the staff obviously didn't check it. Cobwebs on the lamp in the common room rounded off the impression. Overall, the huts have the feel of a horror film... (the only thing missing were the crazy hillbillies carrying out massacres with axes and chainsaws), filled garbage bags were left at the barbecue area on Saturday morning, but no one picked them up.The breakfast was quite nice, although the cleanliness was also questionable.

A very nice family-friendly park for young and old. Very well maintained facilities.Next, a new attraction for older children would be good.

We stayed in a trapper log cabin for two nights. The location in the forest was great. The hut was in a simple condition. The kitchen and bathroom were very small, but that was okay for such a hut. Unfortunately it didn't look like it had been renovated, as was described to us. Besides the kitchen doors and curtains looked new, the lamp was very unusual and beautiful. The fridge hummed all night. There was no way to set hot water in the shower. It was either cold or really hot, so we couldn't shower our children. The house smelled musty. Even though it is a wooden house, it smelled uncharacteristically musty. When we got home, we noticed that all of our things had taken on a strong musty smell. Some predecessors have already described this. Even the bags, cosmetic bags, sleeping bags, pillows, backpacks and blankets that we had with us smelled musty like the hut, so I had to spend over a week cleaning everything, including all the clothes, which was more than annoying. Even after washing, the smell didn't come out of all the textiles. In retrospect, I was very annoyed by this whole washing process, which cost time and money. The breakfast was simple and quite OK for an American breakfast. Unfortunately there was no daily changing offer. I would have expected a very small hint of fruit or vegetables (at least for the children), even if it had just been a lettuce leaf or a cucumber. The pancakes, egg and bacon were delicious. What wasn't good at all was the cleanliness in the La Cascada restaurant. Most of the plates, bowls and cutlery were not cleaned properly and there were stains everywhere. My 10-year-old son refused to use a plate on the second day because he was desperately looking for a clean cereal bowl beforehand. Beneath the buffet, visible, was a pile of dirt that had probably been forgotten. Unfortunately I didn't take a photo. If you looked between the buffet, everything was thick dust and dirt with leftover garbage. There were Mexican-style blankets on the buffet in the middle as decoration, which actually looked quite nice. But there were leftover food everywhere that had probably been there for several days, totally unhygienic and simply inappropriate for a buffet, which should actually be cleaned every day. All the tables weren't clean so we had to look for someone to wipe them.We really liked it at the Furt Fan theme park, but that's a different review. We absolutely cannot recommend an overnight stay with breakfast.Addendum April 2024: the smell from the bags just doesn't go away. We had to throw away one bag because it was unbearable. It's a shame there was no response.

Actually I would give 4 stars. Unfortunately, there are a few negative points that really spoiled our short vacation.Positive: The log cabin is beautifully located in the forest, with a great terrace and its own grill. The house was clean and the beds were comfortable.Negative:When showering, the water in the houses is lukewarm at most. The employees obviously don't like the camp visitors. This starts at the entrance to the park, at the entrance gate for camp visitors there is a sign saying "We will open the gate as soon as the Ferris wheel stops.". So we wait, at some point an unmotivated employee comes and rudely says why we don't just open the lever on the inside from the outside and go through. The next day for breakfast the gate is closed, no sign or anything on how to get into the park.Unfortunately, the breakfast is also more than disappointing. Unfortunately, if you come after 9 a.m. you're out of luck, as hardly anything will be refilled, neither plates, cups nor food.Bacon and scrambled eggs were ice cold and there was still pasta from the day before in the warmers!?In contrast to the camp, the amusement park is really great and we will definitely visit it again, but we won't stay here again.

Anyone who has children of kindergarten age has the problem that the young wild ones would like to have great attractions in addition to the carousel and mini train! This is what Fort Fun offers! A little out of the way, but embedded in the Sauerland nature, children from 100cm can get everything their hearts desire! You can ride roller coasters, water rides, Yakiri's little thunder through the prairie and much more just like the big ones in Phantasialand and Co! With the original American SantaFee Express (a steam locomotive) you travel to the forgotten city on a treasure hunt and wash gold nuggets from the river waterWe paid €139 for 2 days in the park with 1 overnight stay and breakfast (including parking), simply unbeatable! An unforgettable experience for our short one, who didn't want to leave!Of course, the whole thing is also fun for older children and so there are also attractions that are only for older children.I can only recommend this park to everyone, a park that has been around for a long time and yet is often ignored! You should take a trip or a day trip!
