Very nice and cozy gem. Perfect for a long weekend with big and small children. Price and performance are very good. The kitchen is very well equipped. There is a lot to discover in the area. We would like to come again. Keep it up!

Beautiful surroundings, very nice landlords, the house is well maintained, but the furnishings need to be improved/modernized.

Beautiful listed half-timbered house. If the weather is good, there are great opportunities to keep children busy, but if the weather is bad there could be problems with the space. The doors don't close very tightly and the house is generally very noisy. The mattresses could be replaced soon, unfortunately they are a bit worn out. Furnished with great attention to detail. Super nice landlord. Good hiking opportunities. We would come again!

We were guests in Schliprüthen for 1 week with 11 people. We felt very comfortable in the house. It is a listed house. The house has a lot of stories to tell. Very nice landlady. Always helpful and very friendly. We will recommend it to others.

Idyllic location and really great from the outside, but when you come in you can only be amazed... 5 bedrooms (only 1 of which has a double bed!), 3 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, 1 very narrow and old-fashioned dining room, but NO living room !! With 11 people there is room here, it's pretty unfortunate, because if the weather is bad, you can only sit close together at the table in the morning, at lunchtime, in the evening, or just go to bed. There is no space for a play area or similar for children (or dogs) and since the stairs in the house are very steep, children cannot climb up independently to play in the bedroom. The 2 kitchens don't make any sense at all... Both look as if discarded items were moved out here, but a simple pair of scissors, for example, is nowhere to be found. You can somehow cope with a lot of searching, but then you have to put everything back in the kitchen where it came from - absolutely impossible with lots of people in a small space and without any apparent logic. Unfortunately, cooking is really no fun here, unfortunately...There is a pretty grill house in the garden - but this can only be used for an additional fee.The garden is nice, but there aren't 11 seats at the table, so you can't actually all eat together (especially since there are signs stuck everywhere saying you're not allowed to move furniture). Unfortunately, everything wasn't thought through to the end and it was definitely too expensive for our taste!!It's a shame, the house really has the potential to be a dream holiday apartment - 2 bathrooms and 1 kitchen would be enough if you had a living room instead for a cozy get-together. Or just reduce the prices accordingly. In our opinion, it is not recommended for larger families or groups of friends and unfortunately I cannot understand the many 5-star reviews...However, the hostess herself was very friendly and it was clean too!
