Today we went on a hike from Hasselfelde to Stiege and booked a table for 4 people in advance at the "Burgstieg" on the recommendation of friends. That was the smallest problem. However, we also had four dogs with us and one more person. When we arrived, every table was apparently occupied. Great. But a table was actually reserved for us in the quietest part of the restaurant and the dogs were naturally the first to be looked after by the head of the house. Perfect!!! The rest of the very pleasant lunch can be seen from the number of stars awarded. As of today, the “Burgstieg” is definitely one of my future regular haunts. Thank you very much!!!

What a lovely restaurant we visited as part of our family holiday in town! Everything has been stylishly modernized, comfortable to sit in, very friendly and attentive service. The food came quite quickly (considering that all the tables were occupied on Friday evening). Very large portions to fill you up! :) (we would have been full even with the children's portion). And the aquarium in the dining room also shortened the wait for our children to eat ;)

We were there for dinner.We were greeted very friendly.It's all very modern but also very suitable for the area. We were served very quickly and the food was super tasty and the quantity was completely sufficient for us.If we lived here in Stiege then this would definitely be our regular local.

We stopped here at short notice while passing through. We were able to enjoy the sunset on the terrace.Our food was attractively prepared and very tasty. The drinks, wine and beer were at the perfect temperature, which is unfortunately not a given everywhere, especially with wine. Our four-legged friend was happy about a bowl of cool water.We liked the calmness of the service.Price/performance match well here. All in all we felt very comfortable here.Please keep it up!!!

We “just” visited the restaurant and were totally impressed. Were received very friendly and served quickly.The entire restaurant plus what we could see from the rest of the house was absolutely modern and in immaculate condition!The food was amazing! You could tell that someone was cooking with passion! Very tasty and everything fresh. Sauces and dips appear to be homemade and taste good.Service is friendly.

A very nice cozy inn. The rooms are super clean and furnished with great attention to detail. Throughout the entire house you can feel that the owners put their heart and soul into it. The overnight prices are completely reasonable and we would love to come back!

We were just in the restaurant.The food was very tasty and the service was quick. The parking lot seems a bit uninviting, but once you sit down on the terrace, this first impression disappears.Thanks again to the waiter. We called in advance and asked whether the kitchen was still open (apparently most kitchens here and in neighboring towns close at 8 p.m., including on weekends). Well… put baby to bed and arrived in time. But there was enough activity that I assume we didn't have to rush.

Highly recommended, nice rooms, friendly staff, parking spaces available on site. We spent two nights there around the Ottonenlauf (beginning of August). We were pleasantly surprised that it wasn't a problem that we wanted to have breakfast at 6 a.m. on the day of the race. The in-house restaurant is open in the evenings, the food is tasty and the price is reasonable.

An absolutely perfect stay. The rooms are exceptionally well furnished and comfortable. The beds are ultra comfortable. Room number 1 has a really sensational bathroom and the whole accommodation is impressively clean.The hospitality and service are sensational, extremely friendly and accommodating. You feel completely comfortable and can relax even after a long hike.The attached restaurant has a clear menu that offers something for everyone and even special requests are fulfilled with a smile.This is the kind of overall package you want on vacation.Many thanks to the Burgstieg team for fulfilling your wishes.
