Jugendwohnheim Haus Rheinbach GmbH

Every year we come with a group of 10 French students to the Rheinbach Glass School for three weeks for a German-French exchange about the glass professions. Here in the youth hostel, right next to the glass school, we are welcomed by an absolutely lovely team who listen to us and are very patient. The chef serves us a hot dish full of flavors every lunchtime, and in Simona we find a mother who takes care of our comfort while maintaining order with all the students housed all year round. Thank you for everything, you guys are great!

Functional room, extremely friendly service on site.Ideal location for our needs (bodybuilding competition)

Unfortunately, I fell ill before I left and was back home. After an agreed pick-up appointment, I wanted to pick up my things. And had to decide that they didn't value customer property, and everything had disappeared. When asked, they gave excuses and hung up the phone. It couldn't be removed.

Nice place to learn

We stayed in this dormitory for a holiday camp in July '23 and felt very comfortable.Our group consisted of 60 children, 23 caregivers and 3 cooks and we definitely had enough space for all of our activities. The kitchen was a paradise for our cooking team and definitely deserves special mention. The building is open, bright and modernly furnished with bathrooms in the rooms and plenty of sockets. The couch corner on the ground floor was used as a chill and craft area. We converted the lounge on the ground floor into a table tennis room. We really liked the flexibility of the local contacts. The area outside is suitable for all kinds of off-road games. The optional artificial turf pitch was also ideal for our purposes. We had a great week in Rheinbach and will definitely reserve the house for future visits.There may be a lot of small deficiencies in the rooms to complain about, as well as some somewhat complicated communication, as it wasn't entirely clear who was the contact person for what on site. However, we clarified this when we left and would like to thank Mr. Gonzalez to tackle these issues. In addition, there is no really large room/hall (not the dining room) and possibly a table tennis table outside.Nevertheless: Definitely a recommendation for youth groups and holiday camps!+Modern, bright, large+many sockets in the rooms+Change options depending on need+Outdoor area and sports field+Swimming pool within walking distance+Forest area suitable for night hikes+very friendly staff+Kitchen is well equipped+Value for money-Sockets on the ground floor often don't work-a large group room/hall is missing-Communication-There could be a bit of tidying up outside to make the impression even better-some small defects in the rooms

The price/performance ratio is great. I had a great time during the training and really enjoyed it. One of the best hostels I've ever been to.The food is great, the employees are always friendly and the house is always clean and tidy.I was very happy with the room and if something went wrong, the staff are always open to suggestions for improvement.It is well placed to quickly get where you want to go and shopping opportunities are also within easy reach.I - as an over 18 year old - would like to be able to enter the house after midnight without having to drag one of the poor employees out of bed, but I can also completely understand that stricter rules apply in the presence of minors must apply.All in all a solid hostel.

This is not a hotel, but a children's youth hostel...Clean, cozy and modern.

The food is quite good and the employees are nice, except for one older lady who often has a bad tone and should practice dealing with young people again.
