We have rarely felt so comfortable in a holiday apartment!We were lucky enough to get the large apartment with a fantastic view of the Ahr. The apartment is very modern and tastefully furnished. You immediately feel like you have arrived. We received a very friendly welcome and everything important was explained really well. The rich breakfast was very tasty, the rolls were fresh and the egg dishes were freshly prepared for each guest.We really enjoyed our time there and would love to come back. Thanks...!!!

The Assenmacher family always impresses us. The personal, warm and competent service creates an atmosphere that is rarely experienced. The food is particularly noteworthy: every meal is a culinary masterpiece and definitely deserves a star. A big compliment to the team – we can highly recommend the Gasthaus Assenmacher!

Fantastic!From the sun terrace to the mattress, everything is great. The quality of the cuisine is Michelin-worthy, everything is freshly cooked. The breakfast shines with house-pickled salmon, various jams, organic apple juice and Riesling sparkling wine. The service is also excellent for questions about the area, hikes and excursions.

We were in the inn with a group and stayed partly in a holiday apartment and partly in the inn.The holiday apartment was incredibly beautiful, very new, modern and cozy, the food in the half board was so good that we booked again next year. The family that runs the farm is very friendly and it was an overall lovely stay.

We stayed in the hotel for three nights and felt very comfortable. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful.The kitchen offers a selection of deliciously prepared dishes and exquisite Ahr wines. The food is a special treat that should not be missed. The preparation and presentation of the food offers a variety of flavors and is a visual delight. The kitchen deserves a star.The hotel is centrally located in the town directly on the Ahr. Excellent hiking trails (e.g. the red wine hiking trail) invite you to explore the beautiful pasture area. The transport connections and the free ticket for the transport association also help.

We were guests at the hotel in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. The new holiday apartments deserve 5 stars. Service, friendliness and cuisine were always tip-top and impeccable. We also booked the entire hotel in 2024 and all participants were extremely satisfied with our menus. That's why we'll be back in 2025.

What a wonderful stay we had here! Friendly owner with nice staff and delicious food. Beautiful apartment and beautiful surroundings and delicious wines.The entire region is working hard to rebuild after the flood, an extra reason to visit here.

We stayed in a large apartment, facing away from the street, very quiet for several days. I've often read that an apartment is perfectly equipped - this one really is. And tastefully decorated.Our hosts were extremely friendly and gave us advice on things to do.An oasis in the middle of a still battered Ahr valley. Our respect for everyone who is doing such a great job of rebuilding. We will be back!

We were pampered in a wonderful, loving, family atmosphere with sincere friendliness, calm generosity, quiet attentiveness and warm-hearted conversations; as well as with aesthetically and decoratively designed rooms, with sophisticated, authentic and friendly manners. Plus fine little “soul caresses”, like chocolate hearts on the pillows and lavender in the cupboard… We’d love to come back.

Slept here for two nights in one of the new apartments, very clean, modern and fully equipped! Everything is there and the beds were good. Breakfast made in our own kitchen with fresh rolls from the chef, enjoyed on our own balcony in the peace and morning sun. There is a sauna downstairs, which I really enjoyed and everything is there!We also had a delicious meal there, top quality food and incredibly friendly service that provides good advice and thinks along with us regarding needs and wines!Quiet area where you can enjoy nice walks!If you are looking for something hospitable, all amenities are available, clean, beautiful, delicious dining and a quiet environment, then this is highly recommended for the family feeling!

There were two of us with a dog in the large holiday apartment at the Hotel Assenmacher. The apartment was very clean, nothing was missing. We slept well on fantastic mattresses. The day ended wonderfully with a view of the Ahr from our balcony.Both the hotel and the holiday apartment were lovingly and tastefully restored after the flood. The breakfast was very tasty, the rolls were fresh and the scrambled eggs were freshly prepared for each guest. So we felt completely comfortable. The start of the red wine hiking trail was very close to the accommodation and in 5 minutes you had fantastic views. The sauna was new and very nice.The hosts were all very friendly and helped us with any questions about the area. Very sympathic.We can therefore fully recommend a stay at the Gasthaus Assenmacher and we will definitely be back very soon.

We were guests of the Assenmacher family for one night. Very hospitable family business with a beautiful sauna and rich breakfast. The rooms facing the street are a bit noisy.We had a very pleasant stay and would love to come back!
