We both stayed overnight and ate here. The house was recently reopened and the beautifully designed guest room in particular is very successful.I find the personal contact and the extremely friendly staff very pleasant. Our double room had a balcony and faced the street, which we liked because you had a nice view of the roof, which was currently covered in flowers, and you could look up to the devil's hole. The size of the room and the furnishings are completely sufficient for a short stay. The breakfast is also quite good, with fresh ingredients and delicious rolls and bread croissants. The layout of the buffet has small problems 😉, you have to look for where something is, but you can ask.Since the business hasn't reopened for a long time, I'm sure that one or two things will still be adjusted. It would be nice to have egg cups and spoons right next to the boiled eggs and a little more choice of jam.The selection of cheese and sausage is also good, but in my opinion the plate on which the cheese is presented is a bit too small, with only space for 3-4 small slices of cheese. If a guest tops their bread with cheese, half of the cheese is gone straight away. Of course it will be refilled, but that is an unnecessary effort. In terms of price, I think the overnight stay for the double room is a bit high, but still within the range and quite common on the Ahr. The price charged for breakfast is again cheap. 👍

Very sweet and friendly rebuilt. We went for ice cream and were warmly welcomed.Service was quick and friendly. The ice cream was good. There is a small but fine selection of cakes, we tried 3 different ones, all very tasty. At the table next door, people ate a pretzel pizza and it looked delicious. We keep our fingers crossed that you can finally enjoy the normal madness again for a long time, as it says on the place cards

Very nicely rebuilt location with delicious cakes and friendly and competent service staff. The diverse, small menu makes you want to try even more. What stops me from giving it more than three stars is the lack of accessibility. At first glance it looks pretty good with access via a side ramp. Disappointment follows when looking for the toilet. Everything is very nice and new and you have to struggle up a winding staircase with broken handrails to the basement and back, a shame! It could have been one of my new favorite addresses in the Ahr Valley. As a guest with mobility limitations, you are dependent on not only finding good food and service but also the appropriate facilities in the restaurants you visit, and I expected this, especially in a virtually new building.
