From Chistelsee, about an hour's walk, about 300 m. Large outdoor area with a great view of the Hilelsschrofen. Cozy inn, with a tiled stove in winter. And delicious local dishes on the menu.

I picked up trash along the way that wasn't taken away from me. I didn't get a container for it either. When I emptied my bag of bread rolls to put the garbage in, I was yelled at. That's why we left the inhospitable place without consuming anything. Too bad!

After climbing over the Höllentobel we had an ideal rest here. Here you can enjoy delicious food with a great view in absolute peace and quiet. The staff are very friendly and relaxed. We'd love to come back.

After the climb through the Hölltobel, the mountain inn was the ideal place to stop off. Super friendly and courteous service. The Kaspressknödel was amazing and the Kaiserschmarrn also tasted very good.There was also the latest information from Hahnenköpfle. With snow on the north side that was no longer possible today.

After a hike we were served delicious food there. The service was very friendly and we received our order quickly. So for meat eaters I can really recommend the young bull goulash, it was super tasty and the view too. A dream!!!

Awesome Restaurant with beautiful views and friendly service. The food is delicious. We had great salads and super tasty Knödel and a Kaiserschmarrn. Must try.

You sit here with friendly service and a fantastic view.Unfortunately, the food didn't meet expectations at all. You won't find any mountain herbs in a mountain herb salad. Instead there is leaf salad with carrot, cucumber, etc. with bland dressing for €8. It's a shame, especially since there were tons of edible mountain herbs to be found in the meadows around the house.

Stop for lunch after a very beautiful alpine climb from Lake Christles. Friendly welcome and courteous service. In contrast to the normal tourist huts, a special menu with dishes made from fresh, regional products. We treated ourselves to two different dumpling dishes. Both were delicious! For dessert there was an espresso with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! Mega combination! The restaurant is highly recommended! It is family run with love! We will come again!

Beautiful hiking destination with very tasty food and friendly, young innkeepers. One star deducted due to high prices. Otherwise we were very satisfied and would like to come back.

A wonderful destination for a hike from Oberstdorf with a fabulous view. The last part of the hike to Gerstruben is not without its problems, but it is worth it. The mountain inn offers delicious food and drinks with a beautiful view from the terrace. The prices are a little higher, but absolutely understandable. One should consider the difficulty of transporting the goods. The Kaiserschmarrn was absolutely great and the applesauce was a dream. Note: only cash payment possible!

Beautiful terrace in a dream location, really nice service, ordered plum dumplings to share, expected more for 9 euros, really small portion with two mini dumplings and some vanilla sauce, unfortunately we weren't that impressed - also in terms of taste. Next time there will probably be cake!

Warm, original welcome when entering the terrace. Great view! Excellent fresh cuisine adapted to the season. Enough choice for vegetarians. The food is visually tastefully served. Very friendly, attentive service.We have been to this restaurant several times. Always my pleasure ! ⛰️

We ordered Kaiserschmarrn, which was also delicious. According to the pictures, we were expecting a nice portion since it costs 15.-. Unfortunately it looked like the portion was divided into 2 plates, mini portion. So we stopped again at the next hut.Service was attentive and friendly.
