We booked the Waldloft for 3 nights with our dog.Shower and toilet are set up here.Otherwise, the sanitary facilities in the so-called forest hotel are not enough.Sauna car is great, you just have to be able to do it yourself.The description of the entire system is correct and the idea is great.The filter coffee in the thermos is terrible, the paid coffee (also at breakfast) from the machine is great. The buffet is sufficient. The hard-boiled eggs are cold, scrambled eggs are optional.I think it's a successful concept to open the forest bar in the evenings on a basis of trust, with self-service and a record of the food and drinks taken. Live in the hope that all vacationers will appreciate it.But we'd love to come back

Awesome place! I stayed in the Birkenhaus and it was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast buffet and dinner (pizza) were delicious! Lots of hiking trails nearby as well. Everything I wanted for a relaxing little sabbatical. Highly recommend!

A wonderful place to relax and slow down. A great area and after the sauna you can sit comfortably by the fire and simply enjoy nature. A special compliment goes to the hosts, super nice, accommodating and both so relaxed in their manner that we immediately had a holiday feeling. The breakfast buffet was very fresh, tasty and had everything that should be included in a great breakfast.Thanks for the great time!

We were able to get a booking for the main building very spontaneously and we are absolutely thrilled. There is a real tree (beech) in the middle of the room and you have a fantastic view from the numerous windows. Both the breakfast buffet and the dinner (BBQ) were top class. The staff was super nice and the whole service was just right. The tree houses are really furnished with love and the entire complex is top notch. We will come back :)!

An overpriced camping vacation... that's how I would describe our experience. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right at all.We really liked the idea of a treehouse hotel. And falling asleep and waking up in the forest is also unique.But unfortunately everything else isn't right.We had the treehouse ball for two nights (and a tree tent for one night), which is located at the very edge of the complex and does not have its own sanitary facilities (the following was communicated on the website: "Toilets are behind the forest bar. There is a shower next door -washroom and the sauna car.").By "toilets are behind the forest bar. There is a shower-washroom next door" at a HOTEL we mean more than just a toilet for the women and a toilet for the men, which have to be shared with several other tree houses. I find the fact that the toilets on the website are not described as shared bathrooms cheeky and a whitewash.This fact is topped by the fact that the only window in the men's toilet opens directly into the washroom (a room with a sink and shower that is used for morning and evening hygiene). This means that when you use the washroom you can see and smell everything that happens in the men's toilet. Just disgusting! (According to the operator, this will be fixed after my feedback... the only question is when).For comments, even if it's just information, that the rolls aren't fully baked, that you can't spend the night in tree tent 1 because the angle is much too steep and that the tarpaulin of tree tent 3 was only patched with armored tape and that's why it's raining in , is only dismissed with a rude remark and the fault is looked for in the guest. Hospitality is different!We also think it's a shame that there was absolutely no interaction with the guests. We arrived on Monday. Officially it is not an arrival day and therefore the reception is closed. So far not bad. How we got our key was communicated very well. But then the next morning at breakfast you could have introduced yourself and asked us whether everything was okay or how our first night had been. Unfortunately, this shows again that we didn't care about Robin's Nest.For the money (€200 per night for 2 people including breakfast) and the name "hotel", we expected much better equipped sanitary facilities and service.In our opinion, Robins Nest costs far too much to rent out its treehouses. A campsite on the edge of the forest would bring the same deceleration and relaxation, but you would save a lot of money.If you expect something comfortable for the money, you will unfortunately be completely disappointed.We were given a voucher as a gift, otherwise we wouldn't have decided on Robin's Nest in advance.

A fantastically beautiful place to come down and relax in the middle of nature. The Dome was wonderful! Comfortable bed, stylish furnishings, brilliant outdoor shower and this view 😍 The employee was very nice and the breakfast was really good. What bothered us was that an evening menu was offered, but the forest bar was closed in the evening. Due to the location, this is of course a problem if you are hungry in the evening and didn't know in advance.

Very cool vibe, impeccable, attentive service and a stay that will be remembered for a long time. Hobbit feeling at it's best!For us (2 couples) the "rooms" were also a full 5 stars, but unfortunately the rating didn't go online...AI just can't do anything with forests and nature.

A truly wonderful place. Stylish, loving and thoroughly skillful.Nice people, discreet, great service, very tasty food. All in the middle of the forest. A special place where you can immerse yourself and leave everyday life behind you almost unnoticed. Highly recommended.

We spent a night in a tree tent. The complex is very cute and located in the forest next to a castle. The Waldbar is very cozy and has some seating options inside and outside. The toilets are clean.Here are a few points that caught our attention.SLEEPING COMFORTWe were definitely aware that of course you can't expect the comfort of a tent. However, we were disappointed by the (im)possibility of sleeping in the tent at all. Two of the three tree tents were free. It was not possible to sleep in one of them because the position was so slanted that it was not possible to lie down normally. It was possible to sleep in the second tent. Another point for people who are used to peace and quiet in nature: the A5 was so loud at night that you didn't get a real feeling of nature.CUSTOMER CAREWe thought it was a bit of a shame that we didn't get any instructions for the tent, as the defects would have been identified if we were accompanied by an employee. Employees are only on site until 7 p.m. Afterwards you feel on your own. The website states that a personal check-in with an employee is only possible from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. However, the Waldbar is open until 7 p.m., so there is actually still someone there.BREAKFASTThe selection at the breakfast buffet was okay. For the price, you expect a little more. There was no warm food or anything other than baked rolls, scrambled eggs for an extra €5 or the fact that you have to pay extra for a cappuccino from the machine. I think it's a shame.PRICEConsidering all these points, I think the price of €90 is too expensive.CONCLUSIONWe think that spending the night here is a nice idea, but you shouldn't expect a peaceful, cozy night in the great outdoors.

A wonderful stay — in the middle of nature. If you want to switch off and relax, this is the right place for you. Our overnight stay was in the main building — simply fantastic! Everything was very clean and lovingly furnished. Sanitary facilities, the forest bar and the breakfast are fantastic. So if I could I would give it 10 stars. I'm already looking forward to the next short vacation in this great environment 💚

Very disappointing experience with the booking process.I received a voucher as a gift from friends that I wanted to redeem. The systems don't seem to be working optimally. Of course the problem can always be in front of the screen, but I work in an IT environment and claim that the problem is not in front of the screen and that I can operate it properly. Several times I tried to book a room online, but every time I tried to submit my voucher, I was shown the wrong amount or the system simply wouldn't go to the next step. It was impossible to reach anyone by phone. No matter what time of day I called, no one answered the phone. I also received a very late response to my emails, which made planning my stay very difficult. And today, July 29th, 2024, I'm at a loss because I probably won't get my desired dates due to other people's bookings. Unfortunately, these delays and the technical problems had a very negative impact on my overall impression.I hope these problems will be resolved soon because the concept of the treehouse hotel is really unique and promising.

The system is a bit old, so the price is out of proportion to what is offered. A toilet and a shower for all guests are simply not enough, and the restaurant could also be made nicer with little effort (uniform seating/tables). Some buildings, which were probably the sanitary facilities, have apparently already fallen into disrepair, which is a shame and doesn't really help the overall picture. The location is fantastic. The cleanliness could still be improved (lots of cobwebs in the house and smell of urine in the toilet). The personnel was very friendly and helpful. The fire alarm was missing in the cork house, the base was still there!The breakfast was OK, but could have offered more for this price.We would only conditionally recommend the facility in its current condition due to the price-performance ratio.

The three of us stayed overnight in the main house. The tree house is beautifully and rustically furnished, clean, great view of the forest. Unfortunately you can hear the highway rushing. In the forest bar there is a great breakfast buffet, and also small dishes in the evening, unfortunately only until 7:00 p.m. or 7:30 p.m. But I understand that the very nice and uncomplicated boss also wants to get off work at some point. The nearby Berlepsch Castle (5 minutes on foot) is nice to visit (outdoor area) including a puzzle tour (where you have to guess a lot because some of the information is not accessible).Overall, a great stay, we'll definitely be back - including a visit to the sauna!
